"This quaint and very comfortable Lakeside House is a fabulous retreat! The house is clean, tastefully decorated and well stocked with the essentials. The furnishings and beds are very comfortable. The view is stunning and ever changing with interesting wildlife. We particularly enjoyed using the Kayak(s) and the firepit. The shed had plenty of supplies for aquatic activities and grilling. The only drawback to this wonderful cabin is the long climb up and down on the slab staircase leading from the parking area to the house. It is curvy and irregular so agility, strength for carrying heavy items and good balance are necessary to get down to lake level and back up to your vehicle. Keep that in mind when considering reserving this place. We loved our 2 night retreat and got many beautiful pictures of the sky & reflections. This rental is highly recommended for those adventurous types who don't mind a stairclimbing workout along with the upscale cabin relaxation accommodations and a variety of outdoor activities. These include a hammock, zero gravity chairs, floating tubes, a row boat, a paddle boat and a nice dock along with a beautiful deck overlooking the unusual hill top lake.
