"To be honest, I was a little apprehensive about my upcoming stay after reading a few of the reviews. To start, when we entered the hotel there was a slightly musty smell, but in all fairness, it was pouring outside and there was a wet floor sign posted. We were quickly and pleasantly greeted by the guy behind the desk. I believe his name was Alex. Check- in was quick and easy. We had booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. The halfway was clean with no smell at all. When we arrived at our rooms they were directly across from each other as I had requested. Upon entering the room, it was updated, immaculate, and no smell whatsoever. No bugs either!! Very pleased with both rooms. We walked to two different places to eat each night. Park Place Sports Bar for burgers. The food (burgers) was good. The Irish Pub the next night. The food there was excellent! Both places were within walking distance. We did see a couple of shady characters on the way, but they were hanging out in front of a bar. Overall, great experience and would definitely stay here again!!"

"The suite was a very comfortable space. Bed was comfortable. We traveled with our dog and there was plenty of area to walk her in. "

"The place was great. Four of my siblings, a nephew, and my father stayed for 2 nights to visit my terminally ill brother who lives in the area. The house is located near the center of town near restaurants. The spaciousness was helpful for private contemplation, yet the gathering rooms were great for getting together to share our experiences. The collection of items was a source of conversation in and of themselves."
