This place is a slice of old Hollywood glam. Centrally located in a very quiet upscale neighborhood just a few walkable blocks from downtown. Beautiful well kept, shaded grounds and pool, very friendly/helpful staff, and dog friendly too. We stayed for two quick nights mid-week and sadly did not eat at Melvyns, although we've been before, the place/menu looks like it's had a face lift. We'll def come back when we have more time to properly enjoy w/ some cocktails ;)

Fabulous hotel with a dash of history

Absolutely fabulous stay. We had a minor issue with the bed on day one, and the staff was extremely accommodating making sure we were satisfied on my birthday weekend trip. The restaurant is also amazing. Great food and ambiance. The cherry on top is that his hotel is Palm Springs designated historical landmark.

Laid back luxury and old Hollywood glamour await you at this desert oasis! We loved the beautiful grounds, our room, and attentive service. The location feels discreet and yet is so close to the action - perfect if you (like us) don’t plan on renting a car. We also loved Melvyn’s - a must even if you don’t stay here! Gorgeous!

Comfortable stay in a beautiful setting. Our bathroom was beautiful and clean, but each night a strange odor emanated from the plumbing. Couldn’t diagnose it ourselves and it didn’t ruin our stay, but curious. We loved the grounds, quiet, classic ambiance and friendly staff. I hope to be back!
