The location was the highlight of our trip.
We were not allowed an early check-in after our drive in from Atlanta. This was understable not everywhere can accommodate early check ins. We finally did get up to our room at 430pm after waiting 25 minutes for an elevator that wasn't full. The check in code provided for us was incorrect. After almost 1 hour and 4 phone calls to vecasa were we finally given the correct code. At this point my 8 year old and entire party were over it. The entire apartment needed wiping down, the counters were dirty, the floors were dirty the only things that seemed clean and tidy was the beds. The dishwasher had food in it and smelled. The cooking utensils and knives were all rusted and dirty. The master bathroom has a suspicious hole in the wall by the toilet and the other side of the hole was in a locked closet. Honestly we enjoyed our trip because we make the most of every situation, but for the price we paid for this condo I was really disappointed. Every vecasa representative we spoke to seemed to care less and less about our concerns. They also offered no compensation for their shortcomings. The didnt even allow a late check out after the nonsense we put up with during check in. They lied and told us the room was being prepared for another renter but the condo was listed available on VRBO. The pros was the actual resort. The employees we encountered were all very nice and helpful. The pool was amazing and the beach location was perfect. I definitely do not recommend this resort if you prefer quiet vacations. This place definitely has a spring break vibe. Vecasa was a joke and made this experience frustrating at most.
