Pier Pleasure Pure HellRented this unit because it came with a 6-seater golf cart and my older parents were joining us for a few days. Arrived on Saturday for a week stay. The garage door would not rise, even after pulling the release. The frame was bent. The previous guests left their trash in the garage which created an odor and bugs. Went back and forth with management all week...one minute someone was coming to fix the garage door, the next minute they weren't. Very poor communication with BeachWalk. Requested that someone pick up the trash...no one showed. The neighborhood is not close to the beach, which is fine if you have a golf cart. But when you have two kids and two older parents, getting around the area is difficult without a golf cart. And, the neighborhood covenants state that golf cart rentals are not allowed so Beachwalk would not pay for a rental. We like eating at home, too, and one of the grills was broken for the duration of the week. Definitely NOT what I paid for!!!!!

The check-in is not ideal. They will not let you check-in before 2PM at the very earliest. 4PM is a late check-in. Upon checking, they didn't provide the proper codes to enter the property. Other than that, the house was phenomenal!

Gorgeous, loved the whole property

The house was beautiful!! The property grounds /location was perfect. Beds in each room where extremely comfortable, plenty of towels.(But do bring your own beach towels. )Local services to drop off and pickup beach umbrella wagon and chair that delivered to the house,so convenient!! They also have scooters to rent too Plenty of cookware dishes and storageware .Golf cart was so fun to zip around on . The entertainment and restaurants (walkable to ) were delicious and unique. We did have some communication issues with the codes to the bike locks. The codes provided didn't work, I did reach out multiple times and they said they would be stopping by day but never came. So we couldn't ride the bikes and leave them somewhere to explore in fear of not locking them. Chose this house for that added amenity but couldn't fully utilize them. I did hear back with an apology after I reached back out that they'd need to handle the wrong codes for the next guest staying there. That most definitely didn't deter us from loving the area and this beautiful house. Our favorite golf cart beach trip to Seaside is and absolute must visit. Crystal clear beach , quaint shops, delicious food , there is also a big food truck gathering there too near the amphitheater. Most definitely will be back to this area

Great Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! The house was clean, well-maintained, and had very comfortable beds, which made for great nights of rest after long beach days. There was plenty of cozy seating both inside and out, making it easy to relax and spend time together as a group.The location was fantastic—within walking distance to great restaurants and charming coffee shops. It was so nice to be able to explore the area without needing to drive. The pool was also a huge highlight—clean, well-kept, and perfect for lounging or swimming with the kids.We really appreciated the beach supplies and toys provided at the house. It was a thoughtful touch that made our beach days even easier and more fun.A couple of things to note for future guests: we wish there had been an outdoor shower or even a hose to rinse off sand after beach trips. Some of the beach access points don’t have rinse stations either, so it made for a bit of a mess when coming inside. Also, the kitchen is stocked with only the basic essentials—there are no spices or pantry staples—so be sure to bring everything you’ll need if you plan on cooking.Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely return!

Great vacation!

My family had a great time at Pier Pleasure! The pool was warm and spacious, but get there early to get a seat. The golf cart made it so easy to get around to the beaches and nearby restaurants. The condo is right across from the big chill which offered a variety of foods for everyone. The listing stated there was a fitness center but it is no longer there. Not a big deal, we just opted for more walks and runs to enjoy the Florida weather. Overall we had a great trip and I would recommend this place to anyone. We’ll definitely be back!

Great location! Very clean!

The property was very clean! The location was great. It was along 30A directly across from the Big Chill. The only thing that was a downfall was that the kitchen sink did not have hot (or even warm) water for washing dishes. Would stay here again.

Great place BUT no Gym

Everything was as advertised and really nice EXCEPT the listing showed pictures and advertised a small workout facility and there was not one. The only gym close charged $26 per day so it would have cost our family over $100/day to workout. Other than that, it was really nice!

Great family getaway!

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at Pier Pleasure! Everything was within walking distance, but the golf cart was a great addition for packing things up and heading to the beach. BeachWalk Vacations was great to work with and communication with them via text was super efficient. We will definitely be back!

10+yrs traveler to this area, will never stay here again

I should start by clarifying that my review is more based on my experience with the management company. I should’ve have known even before checking in that this was going to be a bad experience but it was too late to cancel. The management office seems to be very disjointed and does not have a good communication process to handle issues, which lends itself to renter’s horrible intentions with them. Even leading up to the check in date, I was asked to provide my kids’ ages 4 different times!! via text and email though I provided it already at their first request. When reaching for various issues with the property (clogged toilet, toilet not filling up water, thermostats malfunction, etc) , they were never clear on their communication. I never knew if they came or not, couldn’t tell if their communication was a question or a statement, and no confirmation back if the issues were resolved or not. It was such a distraction trying communicate with them while I’m there to enjoy my time off and while still dealing with issues with the property. They are unprofessional and need some internal process review to be able to handle issue more efficiently and communicate effectively. A couple of notes for other future renters. The house has nothing you can use to cook a meal in terms of cooking ingredients, not even salt or peppers or oil! So you would have to buy those essentials just for 3-5 days you are staying there. The thermostat upstairs are useless as the temp upstairs.

Great house and location

The house was the perfect place for my family of 4 and mother. It was during spring break time so everything was very busy and crowded and the WiFi/phone service didn’t work a lot, but that has nothing to do with the house itself. The golf cart was the perfect thing and we took it everywhere - we had struggles turning it on the first night, but they were quick to respond on how to start it. The pool was heated and my kids spent hours there. Be sure to get there early (no later than 10ish) if you want chairs because people go out and throw towels on all of the chairs pretty quick. The location of this house really was perfect in the neighborhood because it’s right near the main pool and right across the street from The Big Chill so it’s a quick walk (which you need because there’s very limited parking there). The house did have some plumbing issues, weird noises when flushing the master bath and the 1/2 bath didn’t flush well, but nothing that took away from the house/stay. We’d definitely come back and stay in this house!

Extremely disappointed

Place had no paper towels, no cleaning products, you are suppose to leave it clean and dishes done but nothing to clean the dishes or kitchen counter with, towel rack in master bathroom broken, no blankets, one of the stove was broken and had a gas leak, the alarms didn’t have good batteries so it would go off in the middle of the night to the point we left a day earlier. Not a pleasant experience at all!!!!

Nice overall

The house and amenities in the neighborhood in area is a great location. The bicycles and golf cart are great editions. With that said the beach access was not described accurately and it wasn’t as convenient as we would’ve liked. One of the public access beaches was closed. Overall, very good rental.
