“You do have to wrestle your suitcase up quite a few outside steps but there is plenty of room. It is worth the view from the dining area where a delightful breakfast was served. It is a cute, quaint place full of character. The hostesses was delightful. She was friendly and fun to visit.”

“Yana and her team were incredible. They went out of their way to make the house cozy everynight with a fire and great ambiance, greeted us every morning during breakfast (which the 3 course breakfast was always different and incredible!) and communicated clearly which made check in a breeze. Cant recommend this stop enough! ”

“The home is lovely, the surrounding area is mostly left to nature for the animals. We saw a moose and her twins in their driveway and parking lot. The next morning there was a moose bedded down in the front yard! Anna and Byron serve a beautiful breakfast with homemade healthy bread. Delicious! We hope to return next year. Will definitely reserve early, view is GORGEOUS!”

“It was in a great location. Very small room and cold breakfast put in your fridge. You eat in your room rather than in a central dining area. You basically only rent a room. You do not have use of the kitchen or living areas. Host was very friendly.”

“This B&B was super nice and the hosts were excellent> Delicious breakfast was served to our room every morning. Both were great at explaining all the activities around the Homer area. Very quiet and nice views of the mountains. We are not much fans of B&B's but I can say if all were like this one we can easily become fans. ”

“Could not be better. Nothing left to chance Dorris is the best host ever and goes all out to assist with whatever you need. Absolutely perfect!!!!”

“Only 5 hours since checkin. So perhaps too early for a comprehensive review. But preliminarily the Bear Lake Lodge is excellent. Bre is a good host. “We really enjoyed our stay and will plan to stay again in the future. The host, Rebecca, was wonderful and gracious; made us feel right at home. The breakfasts she prepared were delicious. She gave us great information and helped us plan our touring. The property is in a rural area. There are 4 bedrooms in the house with a shared bathroom. We were the only ones staying at the time. She has a lot of projects in process so there are minor parts of the house that are under construction but that……

“The house is absolutely beautiful with an amazing view of a valley. Me and my husband were greeted by blue and gray jays on the gutter right outside our window in the mornings. We also spotted a cow moose in the valley. The owner is an amazing lady who makes you feel right at home and also has some grate recommendations on places to eat and things to do. I hope we can come back to stay agin!”
