The suite layout was great, 3 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms was really nice. However, upon arrival the refrigerator did not work and the washer was full of mold. It took the property manager a couple days to determine that the refrigerator did not work, they had to order a part so they set us up with a mini-fridge on Wednesday (we checked in Sunday). We used a cooler and ice to hold us over, not ideal. I scrubbed the washer and ran a self-clean mode but the mold was so bad that it stained the seal of the washer and the smell was still musty. The carpets also need to replaced and smelled as well.I've stayed at the Portofino many times and never had an experience like this. I would chaulk it up to bad luck but when reading past reviews, ALL of these issues were complaints in the past. This was very embarrassing to say the least. My guests were not impressed. Not having a fridge was very inconvenient for 4 adults.The host did communicate with us well but this was all reactive in nature. A little proactive action would have eliminated the issues we dealt with.
