"Fantastic place! Everything was as advertised, hot tub was magnificent, grill was in great shape, firepit was nice. Beds were comfy, kitchen had plenty for us to cook with. Game room was solid. Check in process was flawless, communication with the owner was very responsive. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and we'd rent here again for sure!"

"Staying at this home was like being home. The house was spotless and newly renovated. It smelled clean but not pinesoly or bleachy. My husband said he probably did some of the best fishing of his life! Our dogs had fun playing in the yard and in the creek. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and want. Just like home.. the bedrooms were spacious and comfy. The ac worked really well and sleeping was very pleasant. This was the nicest VRBO we spent time at and we will definitely be going back! "

"Had a fantastic time on a weekend getaway. Beautiful scenic property with fresh air, a starry night sky with a heavenly creek below. The view overlooking the mountain trees is beautiful with the sound of the melodic stream running below. House was very comfortable with amenities and supplies, though the beauty of the outdoors was so breathtaking we found we didnt much need many of the provisions (games, books, tv). Would love to visit again."

"We ranged in age from 2 to 50. There was plenty to do for all age groups, including teenagers. The communication was fantastic! We had a fire with s'mores, plenty of fun in the pool, the grill was perfect but our favorites were the sauna with outdoor shower and hot tub below! Definitely recommend this home for a group, lots of places to scatter. Be mindful there are multiple levels to use in the home which means lots of steps that are necessary to enjoy the space. One suggestion....add some seating to the main deck level as a few of us mentioned it'd be nice. We'd love to return!"

"The property was great and as described. We had reached out about using the property after our wedding for the approved 20 people for a small dinner. This was approved. During our gathering i get many messages saying i did not clear this when i did. We realized it was a quick miscommunication. Other than that no complaints. "
"The cottage was just as shown in the photos. The interior had the "rustic" feel we wanted, with modern amenities we also wanted. There were just two of us, but it is also perfect for a family. A very friendly, beautiful doe met us at our car as we left to visit Bushkill Falls (highly recommended!) and had no fear of us. The back of the property had a large pond, so we had a beautiful view while sitting on the deck."

"My family and I traveled up to the Poconos for my son’s birthday. It was an adorable blue cabin that was well-maintained and very cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub as well as the fire pit and large basement. It was very clean and in good condition. The owner responded quickly to messages and was super kind. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. "
"My family and I had a wonderful stay at your mountain house which was exactly as pictured, but even better. There are three levels to the house and each is spacious and inviting. Everything was clean and all the essentials were supplied, including towels for the hot tub. Each room was large and the beds were comfortable. There were three areas to relax, the main living room, the side room (next to the fun game room) and the basement. There were two kitchens also! The sauna and steam room were a wonderful treat. Communication was excellent. Justin provided lots of house information both before and during our visit as well as lots of things to do and see in the area, including restaurants. Check in was easy and much appreciated. My whole family enjoyed this place. We highly suggest this property for any season. "

"There was effortless communication with the host. Gaining entry to the property was very easy. The home was spacious and very clean. It accommodated my family of 7 very well. The kitchen/dining area was very spacious and could handle all our cooking needs. There is a supermarket about 10minutes away for the last minute items. There's a small fire pit outside that was perfect for s'mores and chit chat. Bedroom/bathroom sizes were adequate. Upstairs TV room was very cozy and has a large TV. Would repeat for another family gathering."

"Had a really great stay with Laurell. The house was exactly as pictured with lots of great space. We were with 3 families and really felt like there was enough space for everyone between the downstairs and main level. They had some nice touches on the bedrooms, indicating the level of firmness the mattresses were. The rooms and beds were really great - the water for showers was super hot and perfect after a day on the mountains. Bathroom was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, which is rare in a rental. Each room had individual temp controls, which was very convenient for each of the families. The downstairs was perfect for relaxing and there was so much for the kids to do in the rec room, between the air hockey and video game options. Kitchen was clean and there were plenty of supplies for our stay. We didn't get to use the deck, firepit, hot tub because of the weather, but it looked like a great space. Thanks for a great stay!"

"Overall the stay was great.
Communication with the hosts was everything necessary and nothing more. Check-in and check-out processes were simple.

I did have some complaints, but I want to be sure to note that they were not big enough to warrant less than a 5 star rating.
They were:
The hot tub. My fiancé is pregnant, so we didn't expect to be able to use the hot tub. However our doctor informed us that we could as long as the temperature was kept below 96°. Since the hot tub is powered by fire, there is no way to set a temperature and you could potentially cook yourself. So we didn't use the hot tub at all and would not book one without a temp setting in the future.
No bidets. It's my opinion no toilet should exist without a bidet. If you got poop on your arm, would you just wipe it off with a tissue?
No curtains. I run a real estate photography business in Florida, so I needed to use my laptop several times each day. The sun coming in the windows was either blinding me, or causing a glare on the screen. Not to mention it would be nice to close them at night since you wouldn't know if someone was staring in.
Isolation. This was not actually a complaint for me since it is exactly what we were looking for, but it should be noted that it is a 15 minute drive up windy mountain roads, some gravel to get to the cabin. It was no issue for us, but I can imagine it could be treacherous in winter months.

"Quintessential Poconos property with woods and deer grazing nearby. The roomy pool was DIVINE! It's heated to the perfect temp, not a chill to get in. We had fun shooting pool...and there are so many activities - foosball table, air hocky, games. A large and nicely appointed kitchen. Comfortable beds. So relaxing and low key! It would be a great place in the winter too if you come to ski in the area.
