Our stay in Port Angeles
Loved the property, the beautiful hiking trails, the mountain views and that we could hear the waves at night. The accommodations were a bit more rundown than expected (new mattresses would help), but overall it was cozy and had the added benefit, for us, of being within walking distance of family.

The property is an older trailer in a wonderful spot along the coast line. All of the other trailers are very well kept with manicured lawns with lots of deer grazing around the property. The inside of the trailer is definitely dated to the 70's and 80's but everything works and the appliances are fairly updated. Extremely clean inside and out. The location is excellent for walking and hiking. And it is extremely laid back and quiet in this area. Close to two towns (about 15 minutes to either one.) We had a wonderful time staying here and would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. If you are looking for a comfortable, safe, quiet, and convenient location then this is a great choice.

It is as shown in the pictures. The mobile was older but clean. It is on a dirt road, which usually means a lot of dust, but they had everything nice and tidy. The shower in the master needed tightening as it leaked. I left a note. These things happen. It was well stocked with dishes, cookware, towels, fans (it got hot and these were nice to have). The park itself is super clean and quiet. Perfect for walks or just relaxing. So many deer! There was a bald eagle we saw a few times. If you book an older mobile home and complain, its on you. It really is as pictured. My only concern was thw beach access. It would have been nice to know it was a bit of a challenge to walk. Both my sisters have mobility issues and it would have been out of the question. Just the stairs at the beginning, though a hand raiil is provided, are quite steep. I am a hiker and it was fine for me, but many people could not handle this trail. It would have been nice to know ahead of time. I took picks heading back up from the beach. I will see ot it lets me post. Hard to tell from the picks how narrow some of it is or hapw steep some of the steps are. Over all, i would stay here again. Just plan on driving to a different beach access, of you have mobitily issues.

Cozy Stay near Olympic
This is a great place to vacation near Olympic National Park and Forks. This VRBO had everything we needed and the process of checking in and out is very simple. We loved that the host gave access to several trails around the home, one leading to the ocean. This was a nice touch for those visiting the area to enjoy the outdoors!

Don’t hesitate to book this property
We stayed 3 nights while hiking in the area. It is a little outside of Port Angeles but not an inconvenience at all. When we got back in the evenings, we enjoyed walking the trails right there and the beach access was incredible with amazing sunsets. We are avid hikers and have stayed in many rentals and this has been one of our favorites so far. More than enough room for the 3 of us (husband and 17 year old). Well stocked, didn’t need a thing. The extra bathroom was such a plus. Very comfortable. The deer that greeted us every morning and evening—divine. You won’t regret booking this property and a huge thank you to the host for sharing it.

This is not a 5 star hotel but it’s exactly what the listing says and how it’s pictured. Great location for a short, challenging hike to the beach and great location for base to visit Olympic including Hoh and Forks and points west or other parts of North Olympic NP

Great value outside Sequim
We loved the location as soon as we pulled up. Very quiet! It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Beautiful overlook of the Strait and trails are just a short walk away. We certainly will consider staying here again.

Quiet Retreat
Quiet and clean space where we could relax after visiting Olympic NP. We enjoyed our visit. We particularly enjoyed the well appointed kitchen, the generous amount of quality towels, the spacious washer dryer, and the beautiful nature trails just outside our door.

Very quiet location in a rural type neighborhood, next to the ocean. We had wonderful walks to ocean lookout benches, and the trail to the beach. There is an eagle nest close by, and several private planes gave us a show! Next door neighbors were friendly and kind. Easy access to local food store, and many places in the Olympic Ntl forest. Kitchen was roomy, tv and internet worked great, comfy bed and linens. Would recommend a change of shower head in the bigger bathroom. It's way too large for a 5'5" person - the small area made for a difficult wash. But the other shower worked great. Didn't meet the owner, but I thank them for a delightful stay!

As chicken owners ourselves we were impressed by how much effort the owners put into the theme. A nice little house, a bit dated but otherwise comfortable. The property was fun with some nice views, a private trail, a resident herd of deer and great flowers. Overall recommend if you need a quiet place to call home while you explore the area.

Perfect quiet getaway with awesome trails and views
The Hen House is a true gem tucked away in a peaceful place close to the sea and forest between Sequim and Port Angeles. Peaceful quiet area with deer and nature all around. The house is comfortable and cozy with very well appointed kitchen and everything that makes a stay perfect. We loved the Hen House theme and Marjorie was easy to communicate with and the perfect host. We will definitely stay here again when we are ready to explore Olympic National Park and all that this area has to offer.

The henhouse at Washington coast
Manufactured home in a nice, quiet neighborhood. A block away from a high bluff but not possible to get down to beach. Only a few feet of beach there anyway. Go there for the view, not for walking on the beach.

Quiet Weekend Escape
This was a great location to use as a base for exploring Olympic. Though it is farther from the national park than locations in Port Angeles, it was peaceful, spacious (for two people), and adorable. The private access to a beach was a wonderful addition with some wondeful wildlife spotting at dusk.

Here are the things I liked about my stay: 1. Gorgeous jungle path that takes you to a private beach. You can walk on the beach or play in the water. It is quiet, private, and beautiful. Note - the path to get to the beach has really steep steps. 2. Quiet neighborhood What I wish was different about my stay: 1. Every time I took a shower (2nd bathroom) the smoke detector went off. If both doors are closed and the fan is on it solves the problem but the first time it happened it scared the crap out of me. 2. I wish the couch and pillows didn't feel old and dirty. 3. I wish the metal blinds didn't have rust on them. 4. I wish the 2nd fan had all blades present so I could use it and not have it bounce across the floor. 5. I wish there was Tupperware to use. 6. I wish I knew that there were only a few local channels on TV to watch. 7. I wish there weren't spider webs in some of the corners.

Great home to explore Olympic Peninsula
This is a super clean, well appointed, home with 2 bedrooms at opposite ends of the home, 2 full baths, W/D, and full kitchen with assortment of pots and pans. Development overlooks Puget Sound, with overlook spot just down the road. Great communications from the owner. Would absolutely stay here again if in the area.

This property is exactly as listed. It is located in a quiet, safe, well kept community. The home is clean and comfortable and has everything you need. We enjoyed our hikes and sightseeing during the day and came home to make dinner and relax. We would definitely come back here.

Overall we were very pleased with our stay. The trails and lookouts were a highlight. The beach was a little hard to get to but we made it! The accommodations helped us spread out for a few days and enjoy cooking instead of eating out. The Hen House is an older unit but overall it was very nice. Great towels, basic supplies, and comfortable.

Very quiet spot with everything you need.
This is a single wide manufactured home, which is in pretty good shape, and we found it immaculately clean. It is off the beaten path, near the beach, but not with a beach view. Beautiful views are close at hand, and there is a private (shared) beach access. The access is a trail, maybe 1/4 mile long, with some steep stairs with rails at the beginning. Definitely not for anyone with accessibility issues. A nice thing about the property is that it comes with lots of things that are often overlooked. There was a Kleenex box in every room. There was a wastebasket in every room. There were plenty of paper supplies. The kitchen was well equipped. Overall, we didn't find anything lacking. This property is in a small manufactured home park, but was extremely quiet. A great stay.
