“My husband and I stayed at the cottage for my birthday and we had an amazing time. The view is hands down the best part. The hot tub is so relaxing and the privacy is perfect. We listened to the waves and birds as we enjoyed the deck area. We will probably bring our own pillows next time because these were quite flat, but nothing to stop me from coming back!”

“We have been coming to Mendocino for 20 years and this was one of the top places we have stayed. You cannot beat the view (we were able to see whales from the deck!!) We had the best time just hanging out in the cottage and enjoying the sound of the ocean and the stars at night. Can’t wait to go back.”

“There are some inaccuracies in the listing which we pointed out to the host, but it appears after more than a week the listing hasn't been updated. The listing says check in is at 3:00, but didn't received check in instructions until after 5:00. There is an unexpected step down between the main area and the kitchen (which you must go through to get to the bathroom). The building was built on a slab, probably a garage conversion, and sits nearly at ground level. There were numerous earwigs...

“The property is set on a picturesque spot in SeaRanch. Beautiful ocean views. The home itself has lots of nice and unexpected touches (amazing water pressure, oyster knife, dog blankets). It also had a few cost reducing pieces that ranked it down a notch for me (one ply toilet paper and paper towels, super thin cloth towels). We did have an issue with wet towels upon arrival and the property management remedied it within the first 24 hours of our stay. The outdoor space was very useful and...
