This four-season cabin, located on motor-free Saddleback Lake, boasts stunning views across the water to Saddleback Mountain. Walk down the path to the sandy beach for a swim or enjoy free use of canoes. Excellent fishing in this stocked pond and an impressive array of wildlife: loons, moose, deer, fox, and owls. Easy hiking trails from the cabin plus Saddleback Mountain and the Appalachian Trail are less than 10 minutes away! Visitors during August enjoy the height of wild blueberry and raspberry picking season.

Great location-view of Saddleback Mnt!
We had a ball here with two adults and 4 17 yr. olds, the girls holed up in the subterranean level where they all slept, hung out and watched movies-we had the ground floor and plenty of extra beds on that level and above in the overlooking loft-which the girls enjoyed too! Excellent layout with very well-stocked and organized kitchen! Very clean and nice glow to the cottage w a toasty wood stove which warmed us nicely after coming in from a day of skiing with amazing views of Saddleback Mnt. out the big bay window. Peaceful and overlooking the lake as well. Lots of happy birds and private setting, yet a 10 min. drive to town, grocery store and shops & restaurants. In a nutshell, all you could want in a larger cottage that accommodates a lot of people very comfortably!

Relaxing Getaway
Beautifully decorated, incredibly comfortable and welcoming cottage! Very clean. Gorgeous view. Kitchen is very well equipped. Everything in excellent working order. The pool table was a great source of entertainment when it rained. The porch and fireplace provided nice additional touches to our stay. We were disappointed the nets were not up for tennis. In late June they certainly should've been and it was one of the draws for us in selecting this rental. Someone put up a string, so we played, but it wasn't the same. Additionally, the walk to the beach is long from this cabin, especially when carrying boats, and there wasn't a path straight down to the water from the cabin which was also disappointing. Lastly, there were numerous leeches around the dock which made the lake less inviting. If you like to look at the lake, and don't care to swim in it or take a boat out, it would be a beautiful place to be but we were hoping to spend more time accessing the water.
