“We had a nice quite time and enjoyed our stay. There are some differences in the pictures. There are no lounge chairs or chairs with cushions on the deck or dock. This is a very vintage cabin but clean and has enough of everything you need.”

It is near some hiking spots and we went to Chattanooga (about an hour away) and explored and did some fun things. “We enjoyed a stay on a funky, renovated school bus, a much nicer one than I road tripped on 49 years ago when moving from Florida to Missouri. Sleeping accommodations were very comfortable. We used the stove, fridge, and kitchenwares which were very useful for our multi-night stay. We made a few campfires, grilled out, visited the animals, and cooked morning-fresh eggs from the farm. “We went for a short getaway over Labor Day weekend and stayed at this cute cottage. We have 3 furbabies that love to be outdoors so this place was perfect to let them out and run wild! We all enjoyed the trails behind the cottage and took the furbabies to play in the water to cool off. We were able to give them a bath afterwards in the tub that was located outside. “The property was adorable but we did experience some challenges. The primary main floor bedroom had drawers/storage area that smelled like cat pee. There is a moisture problem. We saw black mold around the baseboards near the washing machine in the main bedroom, which may be the culprit on the odors. The shower also has not been property cleaned; orange mold was growing in the shower. Lastly the cooling units were unable to properly cool the cottage. We did communicate these items to the owner...
