Continue the literary theme at the Uncle Remus Museum at Turner Park. The museum explores the life and work of author Joel Chandler Harris, who worked at Turner Park as a young apprentice. Augusta is a 3-hour drive from Atlanta, the capital of Georgia. You can also fly into Augusta's regional airport.
