"Trappers Cabin is a beautiful and quiet get away. The log cabin itself was first rate, the interior design and furnishings with the wood burning stove were perfect. The grounds were nicely landscaped and the patio with the built in bbq and fire place were great. The host was very kind and professional checking with us to see if we had any concerns or needs ie. additional coffee, creamer etc. We plan to revisit Trappers Cabin in the future, maybe our 41st aniversary"

"Nice house on a spacious lot, quiet area, lots of birds, nice views. stayed in winter without any snow- water at more of a distance than the pictures due to season. It’s 45 minutes to Schweitzer. Did not get to enjoy outdoor seating which looks nice. Enjoyed indoor fireplace (bring wood)."

"The house was beautiful! It has a great layout for larger familys and groups. There is pleanty things to do at the home including a great game room, hot tub and outdoor deck. The host was easy to communicate with. The home was private and you could snow sled in the yard. The location was an easy drive to Sandpoint for shopping and dining."

"This vacation home is so amazing. It is rustic, yet modern and luxurious and completely comfortable, cozy, enchanting and charming, as well as super spacious. It is only 15 minutes from Sandpoint, but much better than actually staying in Sandpoint, because it is in the forested hills by Cocolalla Lake, close to Round Lake State Park and Sandpoint, as well as a short drive to Schweitzer Mountain ski resort. The home is beautifully decorated, with all the modern conveniences and spectacular views from the covered back patio and the upstairs balconies. We enjoyed the white christmas vibe and saw deer and rabbits frolicking in the woods around the house. The house was also stocked with tasty snacks and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The stay went absolutely perfectly and we would definitely want to stay there again, whether at Christmas time again, or in the Spring, Summer or Fall as well."

"This was our second time staying at this home and it did not disappoint. We all had a fabulous time (teens and adults included)! The house is very well stocked - the owners (who are very friendly) have thought of pretty much everything! It was so fun to sit by the fire pit in the evenings and to enjoy the lake during the days. If you are considering renting this property- don’t hesitate- you won’t be disappointed!"
