Cozy home with awesome pool!!!
We have stayed here several times. The owners are super welcoming and nice. They have chickens and they provide some eggs, and you can buy some too. Close to town, but has a nice country feel, and they get air gliders flying around in the mornings and evenings. Definitely recommend and will continue to return!!

Excellent place to stay
Omi's place is in an excellent location 15 miles north of San Antonio extremely convenient to most of the east Texas tourist attractions. The home itself was very well equipped with very comfortable furniture. It is in a rural area. Our host Greg and Nancy couldn't be more accommodating and friendly. This is our second stay, and we found it just as wonderful as our first stay. We will be back again next year!!

Charming farm house!
My husband and I found everything to love about this delightful and history-filled farm house! It's charming, pet friendly, very clean, a cozy bed with the devine bedding and pillows, the shower rates a 10, the pool is gorgeous, farm fresh eggs, and a resident outdoor kitty. It's convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, and tons of Texas fun. And the owners, Greg and Nancy, are so welcoming and truly the best hosts. We'll definitely be back!!

So much fun
Greg and Nancy were so thoughtful and kind. It was a birthday trip for my daughter and we arrived to a large happy birthday banner. They took us to visit their chickens and gathering eggs. The pool was nice and clean; beautifully maintained. It was like staying at a beloved aunt's house. We will definitely go again!

Perfect Hosts, Cozy Stay
Greg and Nancy were incredible hosts. They checked on us before we arrived, met us at the house when we arrived, checked on us throughout our stay, offered suggestions on where to eat and things to do, and checked on us after we departed. The home has been in the family for decades and well-maintained. It was cozy and convenient to everything we wanted or needed to do in the San Antonio/New Braunfels area. The pool was nice, clean, and inviting. The screened porch overlooking the pool offered a cool retreat from the summer heat. We would not hesitate to stay at Omi’s Place again.

Great getaway from it all!
Greg and Nancy were so welcoming and hospitable. This property is outside of town and is a little rustic with all of the modern conveniences. It was so cozy and the decor reminded me of the comfort of my grandmothers’ homes. Greg keeps the pool immaculate and it was nice to just be able to relax. While this was a getaway for me and my husband, a family would also be very comfortable here. There is plenty to do. We also appreciated the dog friendliness and being able to bring our dogs. They had never seen chickens before and were fascinated by them. If you want to decompress with low stress, this is a great option!

Perfect Getaway
Nothing but great things to say about our stay. Hosts were attentive but not overbearing. Beautiful property, home, pool and close enough to SA and NB to be convenient but far enough out to have true peace and privacy. We will return and hopefully stay longer.

Somewhat disappointed
The check in was easy as Greg and Nancy were there to walk us through the home. The pool and screened in area were nice! However, the cleanliness of this property was alarming. Most of the dishes/utensils had old food stuck to them. The only thing we used were the pans (but had to scrub them); otherwise we used paper products that we bought. The toilet was filthy. It was hard to relax at times because it was so dirty. And i felt i wanted to clean. Which i did do some of but it was not comfortable there for this reason. We spent a lot of time outside. My son did enjoy feeding the chickens. If we come back to the area we will not stay here again.

Little Oasis For Family of Four
Greg and Nancy are amazing hosts! Super accommodating, very welcoming and extremely thoughtful. Their place has everything a family of four traveling with two children under three years old could ever need. Pack n play, high chair, and stroller made traveling to the destination much lighter. Spent most of our time in the children’s pool which was a perfect height for our 2.5 year old. She loved the freedom of walking et swimming in the pool. She enjoyed the countless toys to play with, feeding chickens, et we even found a book which saved bedtime (forgot to pack ours) because we always read a few books before bed. 30 minutes to San Antonio et 10 minute drive to the Natural Bridge Caverns which were the highlight of our trip. You can have both at Omi’s Place lazy days by the pool et venturing out to experience the many attractions of Texas.

Great Texas experience
I cannot give enough praise for our stay at Omi's bed and breakfast. We stayed 43 days and enjoyed every minute. It's nicely situated 20 miles out of san Antonio. Close enough to enjoy everything San Antonio has to offer and yet its out in the country. Greg and Nancy Are the most gracious Hosts one could imagine. They gave us excellent info on all things to do in the area. The home is very well equipped. The living room has very comfortable leather furniture. Wifi was excellent. We didn't miss anything that we had at home. Beautiful screened porch overlooking a huge pool. We were there in the spring and the pool is not heated, but that didn't keep my wife from going in when it was in the high 80's. The chickens were fun. We already signed up for a return trip next year.

Just what we needed!
This is exactly what we needed. The hosts were extremely accommodating and are both very gracious people. We weren't able to check in until 9pm but both hosts were there upon arrival to help with us with checking in. We brought our two dogs and they had the best time! They both were allowed in the pool which was one of the highlights of our stay! We also got to watch the hangliders each morning which was also really cool! Overall I would recommend this stay for anyone and maybe one day we will get to revist!

A Week in Paradise!
There is no way to describe this property to give it full credit for how wonderful it is! Nancy and Greg met us at check in as if we were long lost family. Their friendliness and overwhelming concern for our comfort was outstanding. The private pool, the vineyards, the beautiful and comfortable home made this trip one for the record books! Amazing Weekend Getaway
Travelled to the area for the Total Archery Challenge event at Natural Bridge Caverns. Found this gem online and couldn’t be more pleased with this home. So close and convenient to everything. The house and property are amazing. So comfortable and felt like home. The pool and outdoor amenities are awesome. Very relaxing. We can’t wait to book again!

Ohioans enjoying the Texas sunshine.
We rented this home to visit our son who lives in San Antonio and we had a wonderful time. The grandkids visited and had alot of fun in the wading and swimming pools. We fed the chickens, ate fresh eggs for breakfasts, played games and listened to music on the screened in porch, swam, sunbathed, grilled our dinners and so much more. There is plenty of seating areas on the porch and near the pool. This is a dog friendly home! Dont pack swim towels or alot of clothing because they have several beach towels and a washer and dryer. Kitchen has plenty of dishes, pots/pans, microwave, Keurig and coffee pot. You even have a second frig on the porch near the pool and grill. NOTE: It is clearly listed that there is no dishwasher. We dont mind washing the dishes, BUT if you do, plan ahead and bring disposable plates, cups and silverware. Greg and Nancy are wonderful hosts and are quick to respond to any questions. You will have a great time here!

A pool and chickens, what more could you want?
We had a great time. Greg and Nancy were super accommodating. I was so impressed that they even had bumpers set up on the twin bed for the three-year-old. They even got a pack n play so our baby would have a place to sleep. My only wish would have been having a dishwasher and for the bathroom to have been a bit cleaner- but neither would keep me from booking again. The pool was awesome and location was great.

Mr. Greg and Mrs. Nancy were both very welcoming hosts! They accommodated to all of our needs, the place was very clean, and they were helpful with all of our questions. I really enjoyed when they both provided us with a fire for s’mores as well as the stuff to make them. 10 out of 10 would recommend to others and will definitely be back!

Last minute reservations
Drove from Maryland to Southern Texas to see family, decided to grab them and venture to San Antonio. The night before I jumped on Vrbo and found the most absolutely gorgeous hidden gem. We arrive the next day to Warm weather and great hosts. A warm and gracious welcoming! 80 Chickens and 9 cows on the property that we saw during our stay. Feeding the chickens twice a day was awesome and early mornings at the pasture feeding cows. The pool was wonderful on the first day of Winter. Don't pass up this house on your next vacation. Also don't find very many Dog friendly rentals 😕, but this place was setup for 4 legged friends everywhere. Fenced in yard for offleash time. Very close to Natural Bridge Caverns and Safari park.

Great Vacation rental
The hosts are some of the kindest hosts we have encountered. They really went above and beyond to make sure our stay on their property was a positive experience. The home is equipped with everything you need, and they even have chickens you can feed! My daughter especially loved getting to do this. They even set up a bonfire for us one evening so we could roast s’mores - again a favorite of our daughter. We will definitely be back in the summer so we can utilize the gorgeous pool! Oh-and the beds were super comfortable, which I’ve noticed is few and far between with vacation rentals!

Quiet rual place, but within 5 mins of town
The house is just outside of town, so it’s privet yet close and convenient to shops and restaurants etc.The pool is amazing, even if it was a bit chilly (we rented in October) The host lives next door, and is friendly/helpful but not intrusive. We loved the fresh eggs and s’mores they supplied 🤤 my dogs enjoyed the fenced in yards while we cooked on the big bbq pit on the covered porch. We also enjoyed watching the paragliders play around in the morning/evenings .. Only downfall I had was the master bed was a bit small for my husband I and together, we aren’t tiny people 😆 The house is older, but very well cared for and full of charm (reminded me of my grandparents house ❤️) we will plan on booking again next trip up that way.

End of summer stay at Omis place
The host were so amazing! The house is fully stocked, clean, and welcoming! One of the best VRBO stays I’ve ever had. My young children loved the pool, feeding the chickens, and running around the gated property. Very private, and the foliage is to die for! This is my family’s new favorite place to stay near Newbraunfels, Texas.

A perfect Texas/Hawaiian/Tuscan Farm vacation
We had such a great time here and wish we would have stayed longer. We will be back for sure. The owners Greg and Nancy were so kind, helpful, just the best! We swam in the pool, played games, cooked on the amazing grill, fed the chickens and collected eggs! The home was so comfee and had everything we needed. We couldn't decide if we felt like we were in Tuscany, Hawaii or on a Texas farm. Truly had a little bit of everything. Lots of stuff near by including the caves. But we barely ventured out, it was so nice to just be on the property. It's so private and lovely.

Swim all day & night!!
Property is charming & has everything you need to have a trip full of swimming & relaxing. Hosts Nancy & Greg were friendly, helpful, & hospitality was top notch. The chickens were fun & the outdoor space was set up very well. We enjoyed the breakfast option & it was delicious. The homemade salsa was very tasty! My kiddos enjoyed the pool & all the dive toys. We found an Italian restaurant down the road for dinner one night & shopped at the HEB plus that was very close when we needed items to grill. Nancy was great with my family & our swim lessons. We will definitely return & highly recommend this rental for families looking for a private swimming experience & comfy beds!
