Beach Paradise

We loved our stay in Mission Beach. It was a short walk to the beach and bayside. We prefer this side of mission beach because it is a little quieter for our 2 small children. The kitchen was really nice and had a well kept cast iron skillet. I would stay here again if it worked out.

Fantastic house, but too many issues with property manager

This house is super cute! The kitchen is beautiful and well stocked with everything you could imagine. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The location was fantastic and only a block from the beach. There was beach gear in the garage and our full size truck even (barely) fit. Our first issue was ants in the kitchen and one of the bedrooms. Then one of the toilets wouldn't flush and we had to fix it ourselves. We noticed on the first night that we didn't have hot water. We followed all the notes and let the water run, but it only got up to a barely warm temperature. We did check that the water heater was on and the temperature dial was turned up. I texted the property management company and they assured me that someone local would be in touch. We texted and called twice a day for 4 days before someone came to fix it. Hot water is a basic requirement for a rental/vacation property and it's unacceptable that we didn't have any for most of our stay. I would never rent a place managed by 710 Vacation Rentals or Vacasa ever again after this experience.

Nice place

This place was perfect for my family for a few days. A few minute walk to the beach and a ten minute walk to Belmont Park. Although we drove in, we took an Uber to Sea World which was $9. There’s a little market with the basics and a coffee shop just a few blocks away. The house itself was clean, nicely furnished, and kitchen well equipped. When I booked this place I was uncertain if my vehicle would fit in the garage, based upon the measurements provided in the listing. Our Ford Explorer fit perfectly in the garage, parked diagonally, with inches to spare. This was a relief because street parking would have been difficult to find. Great place! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Great house in a great location

The house was in great condition and in a really good location to everything. Short walk to the beach, Belmont Park, restaurants, market, and playgrounds. Enjoyed the multiple patios and games provided in the house.

Great location in quiet neighborhood

Everything about this house is lovely. Loved all of the touches the owners did to make this a special place to stay. The house is light and bright, beds are comfortable, kitchen is well appointed and beautiful! The location is ideal if you want close walks to both the ocean and the bay, which we did every day. There is a locally owned small grocery close within walking distance for last minute items & fresh items such as milk and eggs. We eat most of our meals at home, so just a couple of suggestions for the owners. #1, it would be really nice to have table and chairs on the front porch so that we can have a meal outside. #2, there is a real problem with flies. We are not sure where they are coming from, but they found their way into the house and became super annoying, even with all of the doors shut. Maybe put up some fly strips outside before guests arrive or find out the source of the problem? Otherwise, amazing spot! Thank you.

Amazing Vacation Home!

My family and I stayed at this gorgeous home for 4 days & honestly, it was perfect! The description & pictures are spot on. It was clean and cozy. Everything a family would want while staying there. The beds were cozy too. The home was fully stocked with everything you will need! We forgot our beach toys and they had everything for our littles to have a good time. I can’t rave enough about this home! We will book again!

Perfect Beach/Bay Bungalow

Our family of 5 enjoyed every moment in this beautiful home! Everything we needed (and more) was supplied - from beach toys to bandaids. We absolutely plan on staying again!

Perfect for a family

This was our first time using this app and was skeptical about the accuracy of the pictures, but to our surprise the property looked exactly as pictured. We did have a little issue trying to open the door upon arrival, but we then realized that we got detailed (w/pictures) instructions on how to get in and we were good. Everything that looks confusing at the house has written instructions on it on how to use it (helped the kids). The location was perfectly located between the harbor and the beach. Belmont park and toddler friendly parks are just a walk/ bike ride away. Anything you think you might need is conveniently on the property, such as, board games, shampoo, body wash, towels, beach toys, beach chairs, etc. As I was checking all the rooms at checkout time, I also found a thin blow up mattress. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay at mission beach.

Perfect Family Vacation

Our family really enjoyed this beautiful home and location. Weather was perfect for hanging out on the patio and having some family ping pong matches. Close to the beach, restaurants and an easy drive to San Diego. Amy with 710 Rentals was very helpful and available.

Loved this home

We loved this property and all that came with it. The home itself was so clean, beautiful appliances and comfy linen/beds. Perfect location for us. With two little ones would have been nice to have a table/chair set up rather than bar stools but know for next time to rent. The rental company very responsive and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and stay there. Definitely will return!
