Hi y’all,I just wanted to share a quick review of our recent stay at the Classic Beach Cottage, and let me tell you, it was absolutely delightful. As a family of three from Texas, we found the cottage to be a perfect fit for our needs. The beds and linens were fantastic, providing us with a restful night's sleep, and the living room setup was just right for our family to relax and enjoy some quality time together.While the shared bathroom was a bit on the small side, we understand that this is pretty standard for Mission Beach. It didn't detract from our overall experience at all. One of the highlights for us was how well-stocked the cottage was with kitchen supplies, general household items, new grill and beach equipment. We were thrilled to find chairs, an umbrella, and even boogie boards provided, making our beach outings so much more enjoyable!The location of the cottage was ideal. We were just steps away from both the beach and the bay, which was incredibly convenient. It was close enough to all the action without being too noisy, allowing us to enjoy the best of both worlds.One thing to keep in mind is that the garage is only big enough for a small sedan, and street parking can be quite challenging. However, this was a minor inconvenience in comparison to the overall fantastic time we had. We were very impressed with how much the Mission Beach area has improved since our last visit three years ago.Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Perfect location, cute little place!

Perfect house for 4 of us. If you have a car, it must be compact to fit in the garage but quick walk to the beach or the bay and great neighborhood. Will definitely stay again!

Clean and Convenient!

We really wanted to stay close to Mission Beach and have a good experience for our little kids ages 4-12 and this place made it happen. The kids were so excited that they provided boogie boards and sand toys! The adults were excited that they provided chairs, towels, umbrella, stroller, stepstool, and more if needed for younger kids and laundry!!! It’s so close to beach and walkable to Belmont and places to eat but we also enjoyed the front patio. We all noted that the beds were comfy and rooms had window AC units! Laundry and AC units are unheard of especially at such a clean, nice family location. Highly recommend and will come back!

A great little ocean getaway

The cottage was as described in the listing. Location is excellent with easy access to the bay and ocean. There were a good amount of kitchen supplies; coffee, some spices, as well as baking dishes and ample containers for leftovers. The outdoor space was great for relaxing after our daily adventures. Having parking is a plus, however, the description of the garage situation is accurate so be sure to read about it if you bring a car! The two things I would mention are: 1 - the refrigerator is very loud when it's running. The first time I heard it I thought there was construction going on outside. 2 - the light in the garage did not come on. We did not use the car in the evening just to avoid trying to park in the very close quarters in the dark. Overall a great stay and I would definitely recommend this property.

Stress free

A stress free and relaxing get away for a couple days to re-charge and breathe in some ocean air with my family for thanksgiving is all I can ask for and it was perfect in this beach cottage! My family and I did NOT want to leave!

Plenty of space for 3 adults and well-located in Mission Beach

This listing tells you a lot of useful information! I suggest reading it before you go, while packing, and again once you're on-site to pick up on all the different tidbits. We flew to CA from the east coast, so it was nice to have so many amenities and supplies provided. We didn't have to rush out for toilet paper and hand soap as soon as we arrived and we had access to beach chairs and towels. There was ample room for 3 adults and our belongings including space for our groceries in the kitchen. We walked a lot of places but also had a rental car for exploring further around San Diego. Our rented Nissan Rogue fit in the garage. The hosts were very responsive before and during our stay. We'd rent with them again!

Great location and communication

We used to live in PB so we returned for a fun weekend with friends. The location is amazing and quiet, the house had everything we needed and the beds were comfy ! You couldn't ask for a better time. I also loved the makeup wipes in the bathroom and the coffee pods for the Keurig. Such a nice touch. Thanks for having us ! We'll see you next time.
