“This beautiful log cabin is perched in the hills where the deck catches the mountain breezes. Bring binoculars for birdwatching! We lived on that deck! The air conditioning is once for sleeping, and the kitchen is small but functional. The drive up to the cabin from the main house is very steep, but we made it up without 4 wheel drive since I am used to driving up hills in snow and ice! If you are not, rent a 4 wheel drive vehicle. “This cabin is like a treehouse in the clouds! The owners and staff are so lovely and friendly. The farm and feeding the animals were a major highlight for the kids on our CR trip. We would love to come back!”

“I stayed a couple of nights with friends, we only wanted a place to talk, play board games, cook some food and relax. This property was perfect for all that, with plenty of sitting areas. The bathroom was very nice, with plenty of space for large groups. The property was very clean and with a nice view. The only 2 things I will recommend the host to update are the couches (maybe a deep clean), they look dirty. The second thing is the futon (this was the 3rd bed), I slept there and it was not……

“Outstanding property with wonderful hiking trails near by. Cute quiet town. The road down to the cabin is steep and unpaved but we managed in a 2wd vehicle. Wifi/Service was out but there is so much to do it didnt bother us one bit. 10/10 would stay again.”
