The Ocean View Hotel
Great views from the bedroom towards the sea (apart from the infamous Shanklin lift shaft). Sun rise while lying in bed was fantastic to see. Staff were great and the food was good. Although some areas were a little worn and could do with a bit of TLC, it was very clean and tidy.

The Q Hotel
Lovely boutique style hotel quirky decor communal areas very nicely designed. Our room on the ground floor was small with the wash basin in the bedroom not in the bathroom. The Fig Tree Shanklin

Summerhill Apartments
We had a ground floor flat, parking was easy, dogs were accepted, and the flat was fully equipt if you wanted to self cater. There was a little bit of outside space which was enclosed and good for the dog. There were places to eat a short walk away, and a footpath to the beach

Pinnacle Suites
No air conditioning but there was a dyson fan and a heater. Room had a coffee machine, mini fridge, hairdryer and a handheld steamer.
