This retired fire truck serves as the sign for Smokey's BBQ. The restaurant is set up in the old train depot, and you'll need to enter from the boarding platform out back. While I can't say this was the best bbq I've ever had, it still hit the spot for us and we'll be making it a regular stop whenever we drive across the pass. We ordered the basic pork + beans + cornbread plate and a shake, though next time I'll be ordering the Train Wreck - an open-face sandwich where the meat, beans, onions, cheese and coleslaw are piled atop sliced cornbread and then smothered with bbq sauce!

"This was our second visit to this beautiful lodge. Both times our family enjoyed hours of sledding on the private hill complete with lights for night time fun. This is a well equipped comfortable home with lots of space for a large group. The owner was super welcoming and quick to respond to any questions. Another wonderful experience!"

There was snow and our kids loved making snowmen and playing in the snow all day and our dogs loved the snow! It’s close to Roslyn which has cute shops and we had to see all the ‘Northern Exposure’ sites! We would definitely recommend this place to others and would love to stay again!"

"We stayed here to celebrate my 70th birthday with kids and granddaughters. A great location and beautiful view! The quibbles, the bedrooms need drapes or shades, the light comes in way too early for families who want to sleep in. Also, TV advertised as Netflix, but it didn’t work. Otherwise I would give it five stars."
