"The cabin is near the top of a mountain and is just a little slice of heaven. It is a great little log cabin with first floor living plus extra space in a loft and in the basement. The house was clean and well stocked. There is a hot tub, grill, fire pit and pond. Lots of field room for walking and we saw rabbits and a flock of wild turkeys. Can't wait to go back."

"We enjoyed the property so much. The house is beautiful and very clean. We loved the kitchen. It was fully stocked with everything (including spices). There is much room for relaxing. It was great to sit in front of the windows, enjoy the view of the lake and mountains, and read a book. We were in close proximity to Ricketts Glen and was able to enjoy a couple of hikes enjoying all the beautiful waterfalls. We had lots of laughs and fun and relaxation."

"Three quick things: 1. The listing is about 15 minutes outside of Montrose, 2. The hosts live in a house connected to the cottage but are super nice and will respect your privacy, and 3. The light switch for the living room is behind the TV. Now go book this place! It is amazing, super clean, and roomy but cozy at the same time. If there is something you need, it’s there, you just haven’t seen it yet. Really. I’ve never left a hotel and felt sad that I was leaving but I was sad to leave here. I really hope to go back someday. "
