"This is a fantastic property in so many ways. The location is amazing. The beach is a 20 second walk but you still have the privacy of a fenced in property (great for traveling with small children and a small dog). The home is welcoming and so comfortable. Each of the 3 bedrooms has excellent bedding, great showers (plenty of towels), and stocked with soap and shampoo. The kitchen is wonderful. "I am part of a group of about 15 people who get together every other year to catch up and enjoy each other's company. As we get older comfort as well as a unique location matters. Willow Lodge met both requirements. I loved the location, loved the Lodge, loved being able to sit by the pool and catch up, eat excellent meals together, and then retire to our respective comfortable rooms. The owner and property manager were friendly, fair, and responsive. Highly recommend and hope to return."

"Location, location, location. We love being so close to the beach. Your cottage is adorable and we loved it again. As far as feedback, we have some. The backyard was a bit run down this time. The fence was broken I imagine from the rain storms . It also looks as though the gardener left piles which were needed to be recycled into the green bin. Last time the back yard was pristine. "Great location, friendly staff, and very comfy beds. The California St trolley is right around the corner, and Fisherman's Wharf only a 10 minute drive away. Parking is expensive at $40 per night, and the $30 breakfast buffet is overpriced and really underwhelming. The pancakes were hard as a rock, and there are no soft drinks available. We felt ripped off after eating there. Go around the corner to Grubstake Diner for a real breakfast at a fraction of the cost. Other than the (very) overpriced restaurant, this is a great hotel. We would definitely stay again."
