“If only the owners would listen to the customer feedback from previous guests! All the same niggling issues stop this from getting g a 5 star rating. Dirty pots and pans, a central heating system that needed to be rebooted constantly, poor level of cleaning generally, all have been commented on by previous guests!”

“The house was amazing and the views were breathtaking. Plus it was very quiet and peaceful. Our daughter absolutely loved having the room at the top of the stair overlooking the sheep pasture. Got to watch the sheep dogs move the sheep and we got a chance to chat with the shepherd who was very friendly. Our host was wonderful and she always responded very quick to any of our questions. This is an absolute must accommodation if you are visiting the northern end of the Isle of Skye.”

“We loved our stay at Ridge Edge Cottage! The neighbors (and their dog) were wonderful and it was so fun to live among the locals for a few nights. You have everything you need here including a washing machine (no dryer). The dishes were not all clean in the cabinet but that was an easy fix with the dish soap provided. It is quite far from Portree (45-60 minutes) but well worth the drive. ”

“We loved staying at Hughes Hideaway. Our favorite part was that there were little lambs/ sheep in the pasture next to the house for part of our stay. It also had really nice Mountain View’s as well as a little peekaboo sea view. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. It was away from the busyness, it was just a really charming spot to stay. We would definitely come back again.”

“Objekt und Lage wie in Anzeige beschrieben, Sehr schön, super ausgestattet, hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Sehr gute Idee mit dem Feldstecher in der Küche und dem Vogelbestimmungsbuch. Eine schöne Beschäftigung bei Ebbe. Den Ofen haben wir mit dem vorhandenen Holz nicht angefeuert bekommen. Wegen der Heizung war es aber trotzdem warm. Übergabe war ohne persönlichen Kontakt, was wir schade fanden.”
