“Property was very clean and as described. Location was great, just a short 15 min drive to downtown Bar Harbor.”

“The sunshed is delightful -- the windows over the bed mean a lovely view for falling asleep and waking. The outdoor shower and compost toilet were clean and the shower pressure was great. Heads up if you'll be arriving after dark -- signage is small and the lighting is minimal to non-existent. Also would have been great to have a flashlight in the shed (be sure to bring yours/have your phone charged and ready).”

“When we arrived at Camp Tinker, we immediately noticed the pleasant and welcoming smell. Everything was very clean and the place was stocked with everything we would need for our stay. In addition to having laundry pods stocked, they also had dishwasher pods, and all the necessary cookware if we chose to cook. “This was our first trip to Maine and we had a great time staying here at this charming cottage. The host was very responsive and all amenities were as advertised. The location is great, being nestled along the back part of the bay where we could watch the fisherman work and wake up to deer and bird songs every morning. We even got to see a baby fox and porcupine in the neighborhood. Travel to nearby Acadia and Schoodic is not far. Our top pick for places to visit would be Quoody Head State Park……

“This cute little studio stay is located at Bunker’s Restaurant. It was safe, quiet and comfortable. It was neat to watch the lobster boats come in the evening. Alicia checked in with us and was great. She is doing some improvements to the property and it looks like it will be even better. ”

“Rented a cabin for the long weekend. NOT what we expected based on the online pics of the cabins. Did not have the "Maine cabin" vibe at all - more like 1980s RV interior design. Vertical blinds on sliding doors were missing some sections so no real privacy. Bed was very uncomfortable. Hot water lasted about 3 mins, so showering or washing dishes was tricky - to say the least. Not so friendly RV "neighbors" who felt it ok to have a projected light show, and be loud and obnoxious past 10 pm. We……
