“This cottage was so perfect! The location was amazing and walkable to all the shops and restaurants. Host was easy to correspond with, and the house had everything we needed. We would love to come back again some day!”

“Lovely home. Very quiet. Large kitchen. I appreciated the communication from the owners. Pictures give the sense that it is larger than it is. Small deck in the back and some seating in the front of the house. Loved the huge windows in the living room. Very nice stay”

“Property is a convenient 5 minute walk to the heart of Warren Street. Home was as described - clean & cozy with a nice porch and ample parking for several cars. Only suggestion would be to trim the trees that block the view of the Hudson … if they are on the property. We visited in the Spring when the leaves were on the trees. The.view of the Hudson might be fine in Winter.”

“If I could have given it more than 5 stars I would have. Beautiful, quiet area and the place is stunning. The gas fireplace in the dining area was great, has pretty much everything you could need and incredibly stylish (the retro fridge and microwave were very cool). Can’t speak to the pullout but the king in the master might have been the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in and the double shower is awesome. The hosts were friendly and responsive. Went to hike and the number of trails within……

“we had a wonderful time! the cottage was very comfortable and really well-appointed. We made the most of the fireplace and our two dogs loved the access to the field and woods nearby. Susanne, the host, gave us great directions and was super friendly and helpful and we really appreciated the scones,chocolate and fresh local eggs left for us. We made the most of the easy access to the Rhinebeck restaurtants and hikes in the area and would love to come back! Thank you”

“This is a nice place near the Omega Institute, tucked away with a nice woodsy walk in the neighborhood. The host cares about the quality of your stay. Nice, simple, clean, comfortable, everything you need. I will look to stay again in the future.”

“A very nice stay. Communication with the host was great. We kept bothering her with questions and she responded quickly. The place is really beautiful. We lit a fire each night and played some of the provided games and watched Netflix. It's an easy drive to Great Barrington to get groceries at the Berkshire coop. We also took advantage of our surroundings and hikes on the AT a little each day. Next time we'll use the host's canoe to explore Lake Buel. The only minor complaint I would have is……

“The Catskill Nook is beautiful and cozy with all the ameneties on the inside. And on the outside it's just a short walk away from main street with shops, bars and restaurants. Owners have thought of everything, and communication was effortless and very welcoming.”

“Beautiful, spacious, historic renovated schoolhouse, well appointed furnishings. Giant great room off the back and out to an expansive green which is NOT fenced enough to let your pet run loose, which they say in write up (our dog loved the great room to play in). A few things: If the weather is inclement, the firewood on the property along the fence will be wet. We arrived in rain and had sun the next two days but wood was wet, and could not locate any bagged firewood in Rhinebeck, so could not……

“The Fitz house is decorated like a fancy NYC apartment -- beautiful place. Location is close to lots in the Hudson Valley. My wife thought it would make a fabulous art studio. Would definitely consider coming back.”

“Really big house with many add ons. Rooms are great. Bathroom is small and door doesn’t lock, otherwise everything is very clean.”

“Fine, elegant, house. A great departure from one’s daily life. Great layout but could use more lighting. There were old quirks about the house but it made it more unique. Some doors don’t shut and will rattle when windows are open. Could use a griddle or larger pans/more baking sheets. The property is gorgeous and the crisp air was refreshing. Lovely experience and would book again!”

“This is a beautiful, cozy, and comfortable cottage. The attention to design detail, stained glass windows in the peaks, lantern wall lights, and barn wood beams, makes this a special place. We were there on a cold and rainy weekend and it was a perfect place to just relax. ”

“My husband and I like to swim and kayak, so this location was perfect, and we loved exploring the area during our week at Goose Landing. The cottage was designed so well that even though it's small there was plenty of room for the two of us. The kitchen was wonderful, with lots of counter space, a big modern SS gas stove, and all the cookware and utensils we needed. The furnishings were lovely and comfortable. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, and communication was excellent. It was obvious……
