Holiday Inn Express & Suites Saugerties - Hudson Valley by IHG

8/10 Good

"The continental breakfast was typical. The coffee was fantastic though - freshly ground beans and brewed by the cup. The shower water pressure and temperature were average at best. Beautiful view if your room is on the back side of the building. Easy to locate and park."

10/10 Excellent

"The property is set in a small quaint area overlooking the river. The hotel and additional buildings are really pretty and our room was huge and comfortable for three people. The staff were attentive, the beds were comfortable, and the shower hot. We were going to a show at the Basilica Hudson so although it was a short stay, it was wonderful and would highly recommend. We didn’t partake in the restaurant, live music or breakfast, but all seemed to be a great addition."

Treehouse Sanctuary Nature Retreat

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed in during the gloomy weather snuggled up on the couch and it was just what we needed for a calm weekend away. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and I was so pleasantly surprised by how well stocked it was, utensils, tools, spices, tinfoil, and more. Eating out on the deck while the sun began to set was beautiful.Listening to the rain against our balcony from the bedroom made for such a lovely Sunday morning. At night, we kept the windows open, and in this September weather it was perfect. The AC unit in the main room also works so well and cools the place down fast during the warmer day time. I was obsessed with the bath! It was amazing to take a bubbly bath under the moonlight in the bathroom. They also left a little treat near the welcome note for our pup, which was such a sweet touch. We brought our own dog bowls, but they did have some there, along with dog toys and a gate as well.It was a little warm to use the fireplace, but the fact that it opens to both the bedroom and the living room was such a cute feature and would be incredible in the wintertime.Overall, it was such a cozy, peaceful place for a relaxing weekend away."
