“This was my second stay at Highland Hill. Everything was excellent again. I love the location! Comfortable beds and accommodations. I highly recommend it.”

“The suite was as pictured and described. The bed linens and down comforter was so soft and the mattress firm but soft. Slept great!! I enjoyed the bright decor and colors. Excellent 70” tv and was happy to have HBO Max + cable. The heating system worked well although maybe add a small one to the bedroom. Bathroom was clean but very small and tight space between toilet and tub. Overall really enjoyed myself!”

“The owners were wonderful and always tried to make sure we stayed active by giving us tips for activities. The place was within walking distance from many restaurants on Front street near the falls. There is only one parking spot and around the outside of the apartment is cluttered. The inside was dark and still could use updates and completion work. There was no “ living room “ with a couch to sit on in the evening. We were provided with plenty of toiletries to use. We always felt safe while on...

“We brought a group of friends down for a weekend get together. The place was immaculate and had so much to do. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep. Tons of things to do on property or within walking distance. The big open building in the back was perfect for our needs with a ton of open space, a back patio, and a fire pit. It was everything we needed and more. 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a great space to get together.”

“Nice clean place. Close to everything. Basement apartment can tell have trouble with wetness. Smelled musty when first entered, but once open did not notice again. Had trouble with locking system to get in. Had some difficulty communicating with rental agent to get in. In the end, we were able to get in and had a great stay and able to visit friends and family. Thank you again!”

“My only complaint is the quality of the nattresses. The mattresses were covered with plastic. Every time my husband moved, he woke me, and vice versa. The matress creaked, was lumpy, and i felt like i was sleeping on soggy cardboard. Also i couldn't find any potholders in the kitchen. All in all it was a great weekend”

“Located in the heart of Peninsula. Parked the car on arrival and it never moved until we left two days later. Easy walking access to restaurants, a new coffee/wine shop, several shops, walking trails, the train depot, and multiple churches. It is located upstairs to a popcorn store, so the whole place has a fragrance of popcorn which we found pleasant. Looking forward to another visit in the future.”

“The space was very clean, functional, and had all of the amenities you would need. We were not placed in the space listed, though we did end up in a larger unit with a separate bedroom. Our check-in was a little confusing and communications could be slow at times throughout our stay, but we were consistently assisted by our friendly hosts. All in all, it was a good spot in a great location.”

“The host was quick with communication and the property is beautiful. Backyard butts up against the channel so you can see the sunsets and boats passing through. Very lovely and highly recommend.”

“We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was nicely decorated and very clean. We had what we needed to cook and be comfortable there. The back yard was so beautiful and we enjoyed relaxing on the deck. There was lots of wild life surrounding the lake - we even observed a Bald Eagle - the provided binoculars helped too. We were close to the Ohio to Erie bike path and enjoyed riding bikes into Akron. The host communicated well and we had a very relaxing time.”
