"This was an annual fishing trip with the guys. We have been going on an annual trip since 1989 (started with camping, graduated to cabins). This was one of the best places we stayed. We had seven adult males, and there was just enough room for all of us (although I am not sure how much longer we can utilize the bunk beds). The place was very clean and it had everything we needed for a good time to be had by all. We did catch fish and utilized the fish cleaning house. The dock was large enough for our boats and the public launch was not that far away or hard to find. The house had plenty of storage spaces. The walkout basement was nice and the deck with a view was awesome. We were lucky to have found this place and be able to book!"

"Very private setting and extremely quiet. On dead end road and very little traffic. The small lake is a gem, particularly because there are no motorboats. Access to hiking, including in the Sylvania Wilderness, is a real plus. For folks looking for a true northwoods getaway free from noise, traffic and crowds and surrounded by natural beauty, this place qualifies."

"The cabin is beautiful, set in a rustic and peaceful location; it’s even better in person than in the photos. The interior was cozy, well-designed, with lots of thoughtful touches. We weren’t able to enjoy the water due to the cold weather, but there’s clearly plenty to do when it’s warmer outside. The hosts were super responsive and very on top of things, which we really appreciated. That said, there was a bit of a push to add extras or reminders about potential fees, which felt a little out of place given the premium nature of the property. Also, we were informed at check-in that one of the showers was out of commission and we were not offered any type of alternative or refund. Not ideal for a group of 12, but also not the end of the world. Still, our weekend was amazing and just what we needed! Thanks Amandy & Phil!"
