"Coming to Morehead City (mostly for work though) in and out of season now for 3, 4 years. Started out with the Bask then more by accident but since always booked there. The friendliness of the staff (don’t know of many hotels where repeat customers are recognized by name at time of arrival), the spaciousness of the rooms and proximity to multiple restaurants makes this a place to go, especially as a starting point to the OBX, for fishing or diving tours. With their present undergoing expansion it def will be also a wedding reception place with the beautiful view over the Big Rock inlet. "
