"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was very clean and looked newly decorated, giving it a fresh and welcoming feel. The staff were all friendly and made us feel comfortable throughout our visit. The pool was excellent and very clean, a great place to relax. Breakfast each morning was delicious with plenty of options and everything was well maintained. Our room was quiet, spotless, and very comfortable. The location is also a big plus, close to many good restaurants. Our favorite was Cheddars, which had great prices and large portions, especially at lunch. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again."
"As non-gamblers, we can't comment on the gambling aspect, but the hotel and rooms themselves were clean and it offered more than your average hotel. We did have a blood stain on our sheets and they offered to move us to a different room, but we chose to get different sheets instead.
Free coffee in the morning, but no free breakfast.
Free parking, felt safe leaving the car in the parking lot, even in that community.
I would not recommend walking around the area, as Wheeling Island is run-down, but it was a short drive to everything Wheeling and the surrounding area has to offer.
Good price for what you get, BUT we added a second weekday night and it was $20 more than buying through Expedia. Check your pricing before buying."
