Excellent stay

Excellent stay ! The staff from check in to check out was excellent. The lady that handles breakfast was so kind and helpful you can’t ask for better . We enjoyed sitting in the lobby seating area and having tea every night hanging with family before going to our separate rooms . Excellent stay !

Honestly, the beds weren't comfortable and the pillows were extremely tiny and "square" is the best way I can put it. There was also mold on the mirror in the shower in room 202.

Great location, area felt and looked safe as well. Hotel lobby, elevator, area outside hotel and inside room were all very clean and well maintained. Quiet, no screaming teenagers or rowdy disruptive guests. Would love to stay again!

This had to be one of the cleanest hotels we’ve ever stayed in! And we really appreciated that. The breakfast was better than most-the scrambled eggs tasted freshly made. Next door is a Walmart which is convenient when traveling. Moundsville has interesting sites and West Virginia is a beautiful state!

Sooo loud. Sounded like the room above us was coming through the ceiling. And the front desk said there was nothing they could do but ask them to quiet down, which they did, but didnt help. The front desk also said that room had extra guest coming in and staying, which they could do nothing about. The elevator sounded like it was going to go any minute, loud & on its last leg. A terrible smell down the hallway. For the most part the staff was friendly. I have stayed there now for a few years and the place has really gone done hill since the pipe liners and work crews are staying there now. No longer quiet, clean or family oriented.

The hotel is very comfortable and the staff are pleasantly friendly and accommodating. I loved everything about this place. The breakfast spread (options)are also very good. Only recommended to have better fruit juices in the breakfast. 😊

Just one issue

Everything was great except the check out. We waited at the desk for 5 minutes while the person was outside smoking a cigarette. She gave the excuse that she couldn't see us through the door. That was not true because I checked it. I think a break like that should be on their lunch time not mine.

My room was right above the pool, I think, because the smell of clorox/chlorine was very strong; but at least it smelled clean! The Attendant was very courteous and accommodating.
