“A absolutely beautiful place to stay. The house, room and everything is impeccable as pictured. Edna was our host and he is the greatest person. Breakfast was amazing as well. Definitely a great place spend some quality time.”

“We had an amazing time,the surroundings are just incredible,so beautiful and peaceful.My family really enjoyed the barn and we played board games,lit a fire which was fabulous.The option to BBQ also.We had such fun.Our huts were just gorgeous,everything was spotlessly clean,the bed was so comfortable and the bedding was to a very high standard.We took a stroll through the meadow and had a turn in the paddle boat on the the water on the grounds,so much fun.The hosts really take great care of this……

“We had a wonderful stay at Matty’s Pub! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The pub had a warm, authentic Irish atmosphere, and everyone made us feel so welcome. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!”

“Boutique hotel it was not, no aircon, expensive for what you got. The extractor in my bedroom was incredibly noisy, I measured it at 75dB. My fellow travellers were kept awake by the laundry machines which worked most of the night. Disappointing overall, would not recommend.”

“We had a warm welcome from Pauline and Chris who were throughout great hosts - happy to help with local visits and places to eat. A lovely setting on a useful through route just 35 minutes from the port.”

“It was good for the price. But to check in you have to call a number and wait. It doesn’t tell you that and the number is on the door so you can’t call early. Simeon from another location comes to let you in. Breakfast is do it yourself continental, not amazing. We are at The Pantry just a few places down, amazing. The lady that checked us in was nice. Room was small but worked. Bed slanted towards head so needed up sleeping opposite direction.”

“Basic accommodation in a building separate from the pub. My room smelt a bit weird. The shower lacked vigour and could not be detached from the wall. The staff were good.”

“Stayed 1 night in a “deluxe” room, the experience started well with the unusual arrival via a short ferry and the drive through the private island, but sadly the luxury experience ended as soon as we had parked up and headed for check-in. Little did we know that the hotel was largely booked out by a huge wedding party, to even get to reception required us to gatecrash through their “private” BBQ held on the lawn in front of hotel. We were looking forward to a quiet stay, but as we went out for……

“There is no air conditioning but ceiling fan only, it will be hot during summer months like July and August. The staff in general are very helpful and sincere. The breakfast quality is good. ”
