Christmas escape for a complete change and experience alpine surroundings.
Compact and set in a tranquil area. Everything you need is here. Good internet. Thones a few minutes walk and a pleasant center , traditional , and minus tourist bustle. Close by are the high passes and beautiful ski villages. The chalet is in spacious grounds , ample parking . A great place to holiday without the usual hassle of the better known alpine honey pots.

Super stay, British family on February half term skiing break
We are a family from the UK with two young boys and stayed at this property for the February half term break. Through Google translate, the landlady was communicative and prompt in responding. The apartment was spotless and modern, and a lovely location. Superb heating and lovely hot water. On some mornings it snowed gently, on other days it was warm enough for non-skiers to hang out in the garden and enjoy the views. The location is situated in a lovely, quiet, green suburb of the Alpine town of Thones, small enough to be charming and with splendid views, but with all conveniences within a couple of minutes drive - unlike staying in many resorts. There is a fantastic collection of ski areas (alpine, nordic, touring) in the general area within 30-minutes drive away. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this clean, conveniently-located and modern chalet; it was just what we needed and we would recommend it to future tenants.

Peaceful retreat with stunning views
The chalet is very modern and clean. We loved the patio and peaceful garden to relax in after a day of walking in the Alps. The owner Mme Plan kept in touch with us throughout the booking process and was very pleasant and helpful on arrival. It is easy to walk into Thones, which has everything you need including a good market every Saturday.

Beautiful well equipped chalet in fabulous location
Kind and very helpful owner. She helped and supported me when my husband had to go to hospital as an emergency. It really helped to return to a beautiful chalet in between hospital visits Gorgeous views. Good location for exploring the Aravis area. Local dog walks from the door. Shops just down the road.

Le chalet est idéalement situé, à quelques minutes à pied du centre ville de Thônes, et à mi chemin entre Annecy et les stations de ski de La Clusaz ou du Grand Bornand. L'équipement du chalet permet de passer un séjour très agréable.

Vous séjournez dans un très beau chalet et situé dans la nature, un vrai dépaysement et un panorama magnifique qui me manque déjà...Une proximité de la ville de Thônes appréciable (10' à pied) , d'Annecy et bien d'autres lieux à découvrir (la Cluzaz, le col de la Forclaz, le lac de Thuy ....) Un accueil chaleureux de la propriétaire, de bons conseils et un chalet très bien équipé et confortable. rien ne manque et d'une propreté irréprochable. Le chalet est très agréable, notre fils a beaucoup profité de la terrasse et du terrain autour du chalet. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le calme et le décor, et profité de la proximité du lac d'Annecy et de La Clusaz pour nos excursions. La ville de Thônes est très agréable et parfaitement située.

schöne Zeit zwischen Bergen und See
Wir hatten als Familie eine super Zeit. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir haben die Terrasse und den Garten sehr genossen. Obwohl das Haus in einem Wohngebiet liegt, ist man sehr für sich und hat einen schönen Blick in die Berge. Der See ist mit dem Auto gut erreichbar und die Berge drumherum bieten unendlich viele Möglichkeiten. Der Ort selber ist fußläufig erreichbar, hat eine schöne Atmosphäre und bietet Bars, Restaurants, Cafes, Bäckereien und samstags einen sehr lebendigen Markt. Können wir weiterempfehlen.
