“Off the beaten path, property was clean, missing a few cooking essentials, but overall, owner responded quickly. Neighbors was very nice. Nice view of the river. Would have loved to us the firepit, but it was under water. River was high this time of year.”

“The bears den was a nice quiet getaway for me and my wife to celebrate our anniversary. She chose this time of year because of the fall leaves and the Allegheny national Forest was full of awesome autumn sights. The property is a repurposed restaurant and each unit has a unique theme. We loved the decor and the privacy. The river is short walk from the front door. We would stay again for sure. ”

“Nice studio sized space perfect for the boss and I. Close enough to walk to the riverbank, and short jaunt up the road to the sis-in-law’s place. Nicely decorated and cozy. Patio area was perfect to sit, enjoy a couple of cold ones and relax after a day of galavanting through the wife’s old stomping grounds. 5 star space with 2 minor things: A new mirror in the bathroom would be nice and I would like to recommend adding pillows to the “bring your own linens” list. “Very close to house & pool by property, had to walk to river, fence blocks view. Property decorated well, perfect size for my husband & myself. Fire pit seems to be in neighbors backyard, we never had campfire, felt uncomfortable with location”
