“We were group of 16 adults and three children under the age of three. Sonja and Diego could not have been better hosts! They are truly lovely people! Everything was absolutely perfect! The villa is stunning and very child friendly! We opted to have Sonja cook breakfast and dinner for us each day, and her food was absolutely delicious! You must try their pizza and bbq! We enjoyed the tennis court, feeding the horses, and day trips to Siena, Florence, and Montepulciano. The villa location is……

“We stayed at this villa for a month. We had our family of 9 people here for 10 days. The layout with 2 separate apartments was perfect for our group. We had great weather during our stay and so we used the pool (unheated) frequently. The kitchen has all the utensils you will need for cooking, and some spices too. The owners were very responsive to any issues that came up. This is a rustic typical Tuscan villa. It could use additional comfortable seating inside, and it would be great if there was……

“Beautiful small hotel. We received a nice upgrade without asking for it. The apartments are very comfortable and has complete kitchens. They received us with a bottle of wine and some groceries. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but there are some options nearby. I would only recommend staying here if you have a car. Good option to stay here and make day trips to different Tuscan towns.”

“This apartment is in a charming medieval village just outside Montalcino that brings you back in time. The views are phenomenal. The apartment is very comfortable and with all the amenities! The host Francesco is amazing and helped us with planning some outings while in town. Highly recommend!”

“The property has beautiful views and a peaceful, remote location. It is well equipped for cooking meals and they conveniently provide a starter supply of necessities (kitchen spices, hand soap, laundry soap, toilet paper, etc.). The property owner, as well as the local property manager, were both very responsive to our questions and the check in and out processes are simple. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“A melhor acomodação que ficamos na Toscana. Fica na cidade histórica, rodeada de lojas, restaurantes maravilhosos, igrejas e construções históricas. Me fez sentir parte da história de Montepulciano. Acomodação muito charmosa, serviço fantástico fora do comum e café da manhã e amenidades maravilhosas. Muito espaçoso e aconchegante. Tínhamos um piano em nossa sala. Bebidas, licores, castanhas e comidinhas disponíveis sem custo durante todo o tempo. A Elena é muito atenciosa em todo o atendimento.……

“Ci siamo trovati veramente bene. Casa attrezzatissima,, vista meravigliosa, posizione incantevole. Piscina tenuta benissimo. Oltre tutto abbiamo avuto il bellissimo piacere di ricevere visita di una volpe, cosa per noi del tutto insolita, ma che ci ha fatto immenso piacere.”

“The apartment is very spacious with lots of antiques and has a home from home feel. It is about a 20 min walk into town, uphill in places but straight forward. Parking is tight so bring a small car 😊. The views across to the old town are great and the balcony space a plus.”

“This is a wonderful property in a quiet area, but only a short walk to the piazza and restaurants. The only improvement I would recommend is the shower caddy; all of my travel sized items kept falling out of it.”

“The house is a beautiful old Italian house with high ceilings with wooden beams and tiled floors. Everything in the house worked pedfectly- wifi, hot water, screens on the windows, kitchen and bath. The house is set in the midst of the Tuscan hills with hikes starting right from the front door. The grounds in the nature preserve are lovely with local plantings. The hostess, Marina, was welcoming, helpful, and altogether delightful. The gravel access road is steep and curvy in places. We were……

“Loved our stay at House of Alice. It’s very centrally located in Tuscany. Francesco was wonderful and took care of reservations and recommendations for us. The village itself is very small. The house was clean and well appointed. Small recommendations are; it could have used more efficient seating in the living room, a few more kitchen items, larger coffee maker etc. Also the bathrooms could use hooks and a shelf. Overall a wonderful and charming place! I would highly recommend!”

“The location is great, you have beautiful Tuscan view in front of yard. The room and bathroom are large, clean and modern with full kitchen. Good choice of breakfast, restaurant onsite is good for dinner. Free parking is good for travel by car.”

“Der Service an der Rezeption und im Restaurant waren sehr gut. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war gut. Sehr gut war das Angebot von frischem Obst. Das Abendessen ist zu empfehlen. Der Pool kann dank der zu öffnenden Überdachung bei jedem Wetter genutzt werden. Die Lage ist schön ruhig im Grünen.”

“I did not want to leave. Cheerful, stylish color pallet & decor. Good internet. Postcard views. Peaceful. Relaxing. Lovely outside terrace & pool. The quibbles-no television, no coffee machine, no microwave. Sofa & coffee table are more shabby than chic. Stains. Need replacing.”
