We booked this hotel because we wanted to be sure of a nice place to stay but when we got there our room had a large fan trying to dry out the carpet and the only other room available required us to use a crappy sofa bed which isn't much better than the floor. I realize problems happen and a room might not be available but how about some advanced notice or at least offer a discount for having to sleep on a cheap, uncomfortable sofa bed. Why should anybody have to pay full price for a sofa bed? I liked to see upper management sleep on a sofa bed and see how happy they are for paying full price! That should be standard operating procedure! Plus the fitness room was closed for a long term issue and all they offered was a commercial gym a 10 minute drive away that already offered a free trial so it didn't cost Marriott nothing! Management doesn't care about the customer and is flat out sheap and penny pinching!

The room we booked they didn't have. So we got a king with a pull out couch that didnt fit two kids we had to scrounge for bedding to make a pallet. Front desk was to worried about there phone than helping.

Super small pool, no hot tub. Pictures are misleading. Doors didn't work to access pool. Had to enter the pool from the outside. It was 6 degrees outside. Pool had no lights, so it had to close at dusk. Rooms were clean but had no refrigerator. Shower got lukewarm at best. Good breakfast.

The HVAC was non operable in the room. Extremely frustrating when checking in late in the evening and being too tired to switch rooms.

Crushed doritos on floor under air conditioner, bed had massive hole on one side, pantry at front desk was very cleaned out, gum was closed had to go off site to use a gym, one elevator was down, and to top it off we found dried blood under the sink in the bathroom on the wall. Once we found the dried blood we decided to leave. The hote said they would refund us but once we left the site they were rude and uncooperative. Definitely would not recommend this Fairfield which is a bummer because we stay at many!

You could exit the building from the rear exit but could not re-enter. The card reader did not work and had to walk around to front entrance.

Not what i imagined for the price
I chose a more expensive place for a couple of reasons. 1. So I could relax in the pool and hot tub and 2. I chose an “executive suite” with a kitchenette so we would be able to have family visit. The executive suite was not more than a king room with a bad sofa sleeper. My daughter slept on the floor. The kitchenette was a mini fridge and microwave, not even a sink or counter top. I got an email after the cancellation deadline that the fitness center and hot tub are closed. The hot tub is no longer there. Breakfast was very good Saturday, ran out of several things Sunday, and didn’t put as much out on Monday. Still better than continental though.

When we checked in the room i reserved wasnt what they gad me booked in. I told them i needed the sofa bed and we had 4 people 3 initially but 1 more had to stay with us. The sofa bed we got was only a twin and i told her if it didnt sleep 4 we would need to cancel and go elsewhere. She said it would sleep 4. One of our kids had to sleep on the floor.
