“Only stayed one hour due to the cleanliness of the room. Hair covered the floor and bed, multiple coloured stains on the bedsheets along with ANTS crawling in one of them, the toilet was covered in urine stains and the towels had not seemed to be washed but rather just taken and refolded, I could see the crust on the towels, condoms were on the mini fridge and the rooms air quality was dusty. Couldn’t even check out as there was no employees to be found after looking. Avoid this place at all...

“Loved our stay! The location is nice and central to old quarter, close to the lively downtown area but tucked away from all the noise. We ate at a bbq spot right outside the gated area and it was amazing. The host was amazing, extremely fast responses, very outgoing to make sure we were comfortable, and provided all the information we needed. Very accommodating. If I ever come back to Hanoi I will definitely be staying here again and I fully recommend this stay.”

“Stayed at Harmony Homestay in April 2022 with 10 friends and one of their children. It is a great place to stay with a large group, easy access to central Hanoi and lots of great food shops available. The drinking water tap is a great addition, as drinking water is not easily available in places in Hanoi. The rooms all have AC and fans, which is needed with Hanoi’s climate.”

“I booked this place for our last couple nights in Hanoi and was charged in full. The host never replied to any of my messages, did not provide check in details so I was left scrambling on my last day of holidays trying to secure new accommodations for my family and friends before we flew in to Hanoi last in the evening. I also spent money on having to call VRBO multiple times. This host should be removed from the platform.”

“Got to venue in dirty alleyway. Messaged owner through WhatsApp number provided by Stayz and the owner replied to say they don't sell any rentals through Stayz and the property I told them about was taken off the market more than two years previously. Was NYE so had to book another hotel at a premium. Not impressed with Stayz at all, who I had to fight for a refund.”

“The home stay was very nice and comfortable! The check in seemed confusing but the instructions made it super easy. The little kitchen area was nice to have, and the laundry worked very well. The place is a studio apartment style with all one room and then a bathroom. My only complaint was that it was not actually near the famous area of the train street where there are cafes on the tracks. I did discuss this with the owner after we arrived and he explained where that area was. Overall...
