"This barndo was exactly what we were looking for! A perfect secluded place while still within driving distance to many shops and restaurants. We especially loved drinking our morning coffee on the balcony and watching the chickens. We are looking forward to our next stay here."

"The property is very spacious and well maintained. We rented the main level, which has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was great. The kitchen is huge. The views from the deck are really nice too. For part of the stay we rented a small upstairs apartment for our friends. It was so nice. The owner is very pleasant too. Overall it was an excellent stay and we would definitely stay there again."

"What a great place to stay. Be ready to put your driving gloves on though. Birmingham is known to have some crazy, looping roads and the roads to this property are no exception. I love that there is more than one entrance into the unit, that each person has a parking space, and that there are not a large number of units. The place was spotless, there were way more amenities that you would normally expect, and I have to say that the towels felt and smelled amazing. I highly recommend this...

"Check in was very smooth and easy. Just about everything was there for our convenience (except a box of tissues). If we came back to Birmingham, we would stay there again."

"Great stay in this studio. Exactly as advertised, very clean, decorated, and well maintained. The neighborhood was super interesting and lively, but at the same time quiet, walkable, and felt very safe. Connected to larger unit, as communicated, but still felt private and secure. Super comfortable bedding, clean bathroom, and small kitchenette made for great “home” base. Would recommend, and if you’re looking for something larger, the other part of the house looked great too (will be trying that...

"To the owner. I was not pleased with the brown towels..You can not bleach colored towels. Plus the towels had long hair attached. Also, I needed a pot and your property doesn't provide basis kitchen tools. Final, I was sweeping the kitchen floor and swept up black dog hair.. The kitchen floor was not clean which made me wonder about the brown and yellow towels. I thought the property was decorated nicely but your cleaning staff droped the ball. "

"Property did not disappoint. Located right on the lake, it was a pleasant and peaceful experience. The listing was spot on. Very clean, organized. As with any house, appliances were not perfect but communication with the owner was very easy. They were very accessible. Access to Talladega Motorspeedway was amazing. We were in and out of the speedway within minutes because we were able access the track from the back side. Highly recommend this property!"
