A Welcome Guide will be sent to you 3 days prior to your arrival with Directions, Door code, ect.

The room is a cozy studio attached to the home with its own private coded entrance. It has a King Size bed, Bathroom,
Microwave,Toaster, Coffee maker and refrigerator. It also includes cable TV and WiFi for your convenience. There is no stove or oven

There is a two acre, private tropical garden with two teahouses, one overlooking a Koi Pond for your enjoyment. We are one mile from the Volcano National Park.

The unit is only for adults age 25 and up.
No smoking . $250.00 fee if smoking has occurred
No drugs of any kind. Doing so will result in vacate order and police called .
Do not bring outside guests onto property or into unit without prior permission
The carport is for your use during your stay. Please be aware of backing out from carport.
WE NO LONGER ALLOW TRUCKS, VANS, JEEP WRANGLERS OR ANY OTHER LARGE VEHICLES ON PROPERTY. NO EXCEPTIONS!
We are usually on property if you need anything or have questions.

The location was good for going to the National park. The road conditions getting to the property we okay, careful with low cars. The places itself was very cute. Check in and out was easy. There was a binder with places nearby to visit, eat, and explore.

A wonderful place to stay

We very much enjoyed our stay. Close proximity to the national park and a beautiful backyard space to enjoy and relax in. The accommodation had everything we could possibly need.

Had a great 4 night stay here visiting Volcanoes NP and the surrounding area! The room was very nice and we had everything we needed. I highly recommend walking through the gorgeous gardens on the property.

Volcano hideaway w beautiful gardens

Quiet and extremely convenient to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The room was as advertised and had everything needed—plates, bowls, utensils, cleaning supplies, paper towels, small refrigerator, toaster and coffee pot. Comfortable bed and TV. Electric heater for cool mornings. Big windows to the garden area. The town had a nice laundromat and a few convenience stores w the basics. Hilo is only 40min away for bigger grocery stores and more restaurants. .

Great base for visiting Volcano NP

Jim's place served as a perfect base for exploring Volcano NP. JIm was a warm and welcoming host and provided a clean and comfortable accommodation incredibly close to Volcano NP and nearby restaurants. Highly recommend.

An excellent spot to explore Volcano National Park

We had a great stay at this spacious, charming home. Check in was super-simple and we had a chance to explore both the stunning gardens on-site and pop over to the National Park on the evening we arrived. The kitchenette was perfect for warming up dinner and having coffee in the morning. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed sleeping to the sound of rain outside. Highly recommended!

Cool location! Great host! Good night’s sleep!

Loved staying here so close to Volcano Nat Park as it allowed us to get there early. Location of the house was very cool. Bed was comfy and the heated mattress pad was a HUGE plus. Host was great and cordial and had some water and snacks for us and also helped us retrieve a forgotten item easily. Definitely recommend.

Unique & lovely

Spacious, beautifully appointed room attached to the host’s home, surrounded by rainforest in a small village, 1 mile from Volcano National Park. The extensive walk-through garden, complete with a tea house, was a fascinating surprise. Very accommodating host. Perfect for the two of us! Loved our stay!

Nice little studio in Volcano

I stayed here 2 nights to run the Volcano half marathon. It’s close to the Volcano Village & the National Park. Studio room was just the right size for 1 person or a coupe. Gardens are very nice to explore as well.

Beautiful property and quick communication

We were really happy with our stay. The gardens behind our room were very beautiful and the check in and out process was very easy. Parking was straightforward, we didn’t have any problems finding the house with the provided directions. We would definitely stay there again! Thanks for the snacks!

Nice Location in the rainforest

This was a lovely place with a beautiful garden! The room was big with a small kitchenet. It was a little difficult to find with a private narrow road leading to it.

Volcano Garden Stay

Flat located on a wonderful garden property, minutes from Volcano National Park. Property had a lily pond with quaint Japanese minka. Owners provided coffee, water and Hawaiian snacks, which we appreciated after a long day hiking the volcano.
