Ample room, comfortable beds, clean linens and a superb property in a quiet neighbourhood, our kids enjoyed the yard full of snow and their bunking “nook” upstairs. "I think it really is an old motel rehabbed like on an HGTV show. They did a good job, and the location is amazing, and rooms are comfy. I'd visit again anytime. Bring ear plugs if you are near the front desk, people chat in the front and in the basement lounge, they are entitled too, just l am sensitive to sound. "

"Really nice place. Staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable enough. It's about a 10 minute drive from Higher Ground, which worked out perfectly since I caught a show there. Nice quiet location. The pool was nice and warm. Went to bed thinking how nice and quiet it was in the room but then I woke up to a crying baby at 5:30am from the room above me. Otherwise it was a really nice stay, would definitely stay here again."

Everything is walkable. I have never had a bad stay at Stowe Flake. They have a great gym with plenty of equipment indoor and outdoor pool. I will definitely stay here again."

"Excellent location in Stowe, Vt. Close to everything. I had a first floor room with patio. All I had to do was walk past the lawn and I was able to walk the Stowe recreation trail. The rooms were gorgeous inside with nice details I would not see in a hotel. The only downside is there are no elevators or free breakfast. Bring a camping grill and place on patio if you want to cook. Close to all local attractions including two covered bridges, alchemist for brewery tour and the village of Stowe. "
