This is a gem of an overnight, a beautiful old inn on grounds fronting Lake Champlain in a grove of ancient white cedars. It lies in a very rural area but in its own right is an elegant place with spacious rooms. There is a golf course very nearby. If you are needing a quiet, refreshing break on the way north towards Canada in upstate New York, this is a great choice.

Pool: nice amenity Whip restaurant had very good food Room was very clean. Staff at the reception area was super accommodating. Would definitely go back.

Beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff. The pools were perfect and our 2 daughters (6yrs and 9yrs old) loved the goats. The Lazy Goat Tavern had great food and drink options (even a mocktail!). We loved our stay and would definitely go back.
