Happy Days and Nights - Bear's Den
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (37)
"First time using VRBO, and it was extremely pleasant. Ended up being the only ones there that night, and Chris made the effort to do some wine tasting for us. After that, we got to enjoy the hot tub all alone. The room was private, and quite cozy. The bed and pillows were so comfortable that I didn't want to get up. We will definitely contact them in the future if we venture that way again. Chris and Jessica were very kind hosts, and I feel went above and beyond what was necessary. Highly...

Sunflower Inn - Zinnia Room
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (26)
"I came in for a wedding, the bed in the zinnia room was firm but comfortable. Plenty of pillows. Had a ceiling fan which I always sleep with, cookies down stairs. Bathroom was big and clean with a makeup removal towel. Hot water and great water pressure. Host made a great breakfast and the bacon was my favorite. Quiet and private. Much better and safer than a hotel. Very friendly, comfortable and clean. Definitely will be coming back."

The Belvedere B&B
2.0 star property
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (6)
"Beautiful old house in a beautiful neighborhood very close to the lake and downtown. Louisa was our hostess. She was very friendly and helpful even ran to the Grey Gables restaurant next door to make our dinner reservation for us. We had the room off the living area so there was a little noise when the restaurant patrons left for the evening but it was very brief and no trouble at all. The huge King bed was perfectly pillow like for me, albeit a bit too soft for my husband, but no mattress will...

Walk to Walloon Village, 10 min to Petoskey or Boyne Mountain
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (5)
"This was a perfect location for our weekend getaway with two other families with young kids. The house had even more beds than advertised and the layout of the house was great for adults and kids to have their own space. Tons of kids toys and games stocked which was an unexpected perk! Only con I can think of is there is a picture of a keurig so we brought our kcups but it turns out there is only a regular coffee pot. Not a biggie cause it’s only 10 minutes from meijer."

Inhabit A Hobbit House!
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (440)
"Our little family of three (my partner, myself, and our 2.5 year old child) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We used a pack-and-play upstairs and our child slept beautifully. We appreciated the many amenities and, honestly, you won't find a better location than this. Walk down the hill and you're at a playground and the beach. Or walk 5 minutes and you're in the heart of downtown Charlevoix. Note for the really tall people out there: the ceilings are lower than average, so if you're over 6' 2"...
