A welcoming B&B in Washington, VA. We used it as a base to walk on the Appalachian Trail and visit wineries, easily accessible from Washington. Breakfast was excellent. Internet was iffy despite the house WIFi and cell phone service was dreadful.

The Gay Street Inn is a MUST-stay property for anyone visiting Washington, VA. Drew is the epitome of what a B&B host should strive to be. If Michelin gave out stars for hotels and B&Bs, The Gay Street Inn would have a 3-star rating. Rooms are well-appointed and ultra clean and breakfast was superb! Will definitely stay here in the future!!!

Lovely Inn
Beautiful Inn! We stayed in the Garden Room and slept really well. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic, even if we didn’t get to enjoy it with others.

Valentines dinner and stay in LW
The owner is personable and the environs are like home but better. A short walk to and from the Inn at Little Washington. Very nice sitting room and great homemade breakfast to get you started.

The Gay Street Inn and its proprietors are super. We were visiting with family most of the time we were in the area but I would have liked to spend more time at the inn!

Friendliness. Great breakfast. Great location. Walked to dinner, to explore the historic town. Comfortable bed. The décor of the building as a whole is splendid. Enjoyed the complimentary glass of port and chocolate in the evening. Great garden outside the breakfast room. All around superb.

Great little B&B
