We ended up switching hotels 2 nights into our stay due to safety concerns. Family in the area mentioned a possible shooting at or near this location the week prior. And found a history of incidents on Google. We also noticed cars hanging around the hotel that were not staying at the hotel. (Ex. Parking and staying in their vehicle watching the area before eventually leaving) The hotel was clean but run down. Cracks and yellowing in the walls. Outlets and lights that didnā€™t work. Front door wouldnā€™t shut well, etc

It would be okay for one overnight stay. Would not recommend extended stay. Cons - Not able to rest comfortably. First smoking outside (and inside) some rooms. There was an additional $20 a room for breakfast. Pros, employees were friendly Would not choose this hotel again.

Traveled up for a bike raceā€¦ Hotel was definitely older, but it was the best price in the area. Beds were also on the older side. Could definitely feel the springs. Weird chemical smell in the room. We suspect it was to mask the smoke smell since there was an ash tray outside, but we had asked for a non-smoking room. Not a horrible room, but I doubt we will be back.

We got what we paid for with a bonus.

We got what we paid for with a small bonus. This place is pet friendly, though some of the customers, not so much. Friendly and helpful at the front desk. Pool had water (uncommon in the budget line) and was clean. Didn't swim as the weather we cold and rainy. Bonus, linens and towels were the cleanest I've ever seen in a budget hotel, rivales top tear in that respect. Also, quieter than most budget motels just off the highway. Walmart is just a walk up the hill and so is Vera Cruze CafƩ.
