“Clean tidy house, good location for us, massive TV, host always quick to answer questions”

“We needed a place close to Stoke for an event we were all attending with friends. This place was perfect for the 6 of us that stayed there. The hours is very large, with a large kitchen and all amenities. We did not use the TV, so unsure of that function and options. It was nice to have 2 full bathrooms. There is a large fenced back yard where kids could play.”

“Location & size of property very good. Access was no problem. House in need of deep clean,fusty smell,needs an airing,dirty bedding & carpets,shower head clogged. Listed as non smoking, definitely wasnt. Owner admits to smokers using property & use of heavy air freshners. Was thanked by owner for leaving property very clean and tidy then after i highlighted issues was accused of leaving dog poo on a bed. Owner apologised for dirty thin bedding saying he had just purchased new the day we left……

“Was a lovely place to stay, not too far from anything we wanted to do which was great. The host had kindly left milk, butter and eggs for us in the kitchen which we appreciated! The house was tidy and clean. My only comment would be that there were lots of cobwebs in the rooms but otherwise we had a lovely stay ”

“Just got back yesterday from Riverview Cottage. Just lovely! Very comfortable and clean, it had everything that we needed. Pub across the road, garden to sit in with lovely trees to look at. Near the Manifold and Tissington trails for walking and cycling. We had a lovely time and were sad to leave.”
