“Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home tucked away in the mountains. We loved the small touches like the s’mores basket, indoor lights and AC on when we walked in, and the comfy bed. However, it would have been great to have lights on the pathway to the front of the home because it was dark when we arrived. Our dog loved the yard and we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub as the sun went down, looking at the gorgeous view!”

“This was a perfect place to getaway for my husband, mutt Rocky and me. Isolated enough so the only sounds we heard were from nature, but an easy trip to pick up any supplies you might need. I loved that the huge deck facing the mountains was deep enough that when there was rain we were able to sit outside without getting wet and enjoy the storm. I also had the lovely experience of hummingbirds visiting me while sitting out on the deck enjoying morning coffee. Read the guest book when you arrive....

“Beautiful pet friendly cabin perfectly named as Solitude. I needed a place to get away from the city for a quick weekend getaway with my dog and it was perfect. I enjoyed sitting in the sun in the chairs around the fire pit, the hot tub, and just easing into my day watching the sun come up on the porch. I was extremely happy to find all of the chairs comfortable as I’m short and sometimes that’s an issue but I was able to relax with my pup. Just the short getaway I needed!”

“Aside from food, the place was already stocked with everything you need. Nice comfortable setup. Spent a lot of time hanging out on the deck and enclosed porch just enjoying the view and sounds of nature. Nice and fairly secluded spot but still close enough to venture out and explore what Luray has to offer. We visited Cooter's place (The Dukes of Hazard Museum), The Luray Rescue Zoo, The Luray Caverns and the other attractions they have at the cavernsand found us a fishing spot. Just enjoyed...

“We did a short stay here on our way to Virginia Beach and it was everything that it was advertised to be! The beds were comfy. The view was breathtaking! Have fun driving up and down the mountain to get to it!”

“Lovely large cabin in the woods. Good view of the mountain across the way. The stars are very bright and beautiful at night. The cabin itself was well furnished for our large group. We especially appreciated the pool table and the numerous balconies. The kitchen was well stocked with various utensils. Not far from Luray if you need supplies.”

“We had an absolute wonderful time! It was so relaxing and the descriptions were spot on. After reading the reviews, we brought our foam mattress cover for the bed and it made a big difference. The public fishing spot near the cabin is also a boat launch spot so we had some traffic while fishing but we still caught some fish! Rivers Edge is also on the corner lot so we felt it was very private and highly recommend! The hot tub was also a perfect touch. 10/10 vacation! Thanks Tony! ”
