“Charming historic Inn with great food and friendly staff”

“We are so glad we stayed at Cave Hill Farm B&B! The staff were beyond friendly and accommodating. The house was beautiful and peaceful. It was a short drive to Mashita, where we had an excellent dinner. In the morning, we walked downstairs and had a delicious breakfast while chatting with the other guests, which was all lovely. We look forward to returning. ”

“Host is a very nice and interesting to talk to. Farm had neat things to look at. Very quiet and relaxing. Didn't know we had to tell them we wanted breakfast ahead of time so we missed out on the breakfast both days. I don't know if that was communicated to me or not. ”

The staff is welcoming and friendly, the breakfast can't be beat, and the antiques throughout give the place a classic vibe. Can't recommend it enough!”

“This B&B was a great find. The house was out of the beaten path which made it perfect. A river at the bottom of the hill with a porch overlooking it was peaceful. A cow pasture was close by. The owner was lovely and accommodating. Breakfasts were delicious and all homemade. Will refer to friends who live nearby and when in area again, we will definitely stay again.”

“The Inn is very cozy and comfortable. Art was very hospitable and really took care of us. The morning breakfast was freshly made and tasted awesome. My only negative comment is that there are not many places to eat that are walkable, and most close very early. There is a nice steak/chop house next door but closes at 8:00 pm.”

El hotel favorece la interacción entre los huéspedes (el desayuno es común en la misma mesa) y el desayuno es excelente. “The cottage was beautiful. Was disappointed that their wasn't breakfast. They did supply coffee. The bathroom was just beautiful, the only I could say negative, is the towel smelled mildew. The bed was very wonderful.”

“Very pet friendly, which is important to us, given that we have two dogs. Alan Webb, the host, has a cockatoo, which the dogs loved and which we loved also. Good proximity to the Skyline Drive, Charlottesville, and the White Oak Canyon trail in the Shenandoah National Park. Good breakfasts and good amenities in the room, with Keurig coffee maker, flat screen tv with streaming, and good wi-fi.”

“Beautiful panoramic mountain view! Cabin was very cute and clean. It sits very close to other cabins. We had some difficulty with the front door lock because the battery was low and the TV remote batteries were dead. The bed is very firm and not comfortable at all. The picture/description said there was a swing but the swing has been removed. It has 2 chairs in its place. There was no covering over it so we were unable to use it due to rain. The area is very rural, takes 30-40 minutes to get...
