Meeting point is at Terrua, where you can try one of the best coffees in Lima. After enjoying your coffee, the bike ride begins. The next stop is BuenaVista Café, where we’ll taste chicha morada—a traditional Peruvian non-alcoholic drink—and some delicious empanadas.
From there, we head to the Malecón de Miraflores, an oceanfront area with iconic landmarks such as El Parque del Amor and El Faro de la Marina. After exploring Miraflores, we continue to Barranco, Lima’s bohemian district, where we’ll ride through colorful streets filled with urban art. Here, we’ll make a stop at the traditional Juanito tavern to try a tasty butifarra, a sandwich made with Peruvian country ham.
The ride continues to the Surquillo Market, where you’ll sample a variety of local fruits. Before finishing the tour, we’ll have one last stop at a local restaurant. Our friends at Maraparte will prepare a delicious ceviche for us—one of Peru’s most iconic dishes, made with fresh fish marinated in lime juice and served with onion, corn, chili, and other local ingredients.
