Your guide wearing a MINDELO CULTURAL name badge awaits you in front of the restaurant Nautilus. We walk along Mindelo’s lively marina and take you to the historically and culturally most important sights of Mindelo. You get to know the biography of the “Queen of Morna” Cesária Évora, the surprising history of Praça Estrela and the local delicacies at the market hall. After 2 hours we reach one of the most beautiful rooftop terraces in town where a local dance instructor teaches you in 1 hour how to dance to all 6 traditional rhythms, accompanied by a professional musician. You will learn a lot about the historical roots and cultural influences of all music styles. And the most important thing: You open your mind, experience new moves and have a lot of fun!
