This guided hiking tour begins with a drive from Nizwa up to the spectacular Sayq Plateau in the Jebel Akhdar Mountains. After about a 50-minute drive, you will reach the mountain village of Masairat A’Rawgeh, the starting point of the tour. Along the way, there will be several photo stops to enjoy the breathtaking views of valleys, terraced fields and rocky landscapes.

Once you reach the top, you will visit a beautiful traditional garden with a falaj irrigation system, fruit trees and old stone walls. Afterward, the leisurely descent along Route W21 begins, which takes about 5 hours. The trail leads along historic paths, through impressive rock formations and past ancient villages with fantastic panoramas.

Since the descent takes time, the tour starts in the morning so that you can hike in pleasant temperatures. At the end of the route, you will reach Wadi Muaydin, where a highlight awaits you: you can cool off and swim in the clear water of the wadi – the perfect way to end an unforgettable day.
